Vapor–liquid equilibria in dendrimer and hyperbranched polymer solutions: experimental data and modeling using UNIFAC-FV

Abstract This work evaluates the potential of the group contribution method universal functional activity coefficients-free-volume (UNIFAC-FV) to predict vapor–liquid equilibria (VLE) in dendrimer-solvent and hyperbranched polymer-solvent systems. The VLE of hydroxyl-functional dendritic polymers (polyethers, polyesters, polyamidoamine), dissolved in polar solvents (ethanol and/or water) are studied both experimentally and theoretically. A new approach is suggested to account for the contribution of selected types of polymer structural units (i.e. linear, dendritic and terminal units) to the solvent residual activity. Jednym z obowiązków w prawie ubezpieczeń społecznych jest opłacanie składek na ubezpieczenia społeczne. Ustawodawca przewidział, że w praktyce może się zdarzyć, że płatnik z różnych powodów nie będzie mógł uiścić należności składkowych. Wobec tego wprowadził określone mechanizmy, które mają ułatwić realizację tego obowiązku. Abstract In this work, experimental liquid–liquid equilibria (LLE) data of the systems isobutyl acetate + acetic acid + water and isobutyl alcohol + acetic acid + water are presented. The liquid–liquid equilibria of both systems have been measured at 283.15 and 323.15 K. The NRTL and UNIQUAC models were applied to fit the data for both ternary systems. The interaction parameters obtained from both models successfully correlated the equilibrium compositions. The experimental tie lines were compared to the values predicted by the UNIFAC method. Moreover, the solvent capabilities of isobutyl acetate and isobutyl alcohol were compared.

The Large Hadron-Electron Collider (LHeC) is designed to move the field of deep inelastic scattering (DIS) to the energy and intensity frontier of particle physics. Exploiting energy-recovery technology, it collides a novel, intense electron beam with a proton or ion beam from the High-Luminosity Large Hadron Collider (HL-LHC). The accelerator and interaction region are designed for concurrent electron-proton and proton-proton operations. Owing to the comparative remoteness of the region, few ground-based studies of the volcanoes have been undertaken. Here, we report and integrate gas measurements and (isotope) geochemical analyses of lava samples for Dukono, Ibu, Gamkonora, Gamalama, and Makian volcanoes of the Halmahera arc.
