Bakalaura darbs uzrakstīts uz 27 lapaspusēm, satur 18 zīmējumus, 1 tabulu un 20 literatūras avotus. Darba mērķis ir novērtēt redzes asumu un kontrasta jūtību fotopiskos un mezopiskos apstākļos pacientiem, koriģētiem ar brillēm un vienas dienas multifokālajām kontaktlēcām. Mūsu pētījumi parādīja, ka fotopiskos apstākļos pacientiem pēc korekcijas ar multifokālajām kontaktlēcām redzes asums vidēji samazinājās par 0,02 logMAR vienībām. Mezopiskos krēslas apstākļos pacientiem koriģētiem ar multifokālajām kontaktlēcām redzes asuma samazinājums vidēji bija 0.05 logMAR vienības. Atšķirības redzes asumā ir statistiski nozīmīgas. Objectives: The purpose of this study was to test the applicability of the Demirjian method and revised versions for estimating chronological age (CA) from dental age (DA) in a sample of children. Study Design: A sample of 252 individuals of known age (4 to 14 yrs), sex (males: 125, females: 127), and ethnicity (Saudi) was collected. Each individual was aged using the original Demirjian method and revised versions, including Saudi, Kuwaiti, Belgian, and revised international curves. Background: Kreutz et al. (2008) developed the Music-Empathizing-Music-Systemizing (ME-MS) Inventory to extend Baron-Cohen's cognitive style theory to the domain of music. We sought to confirm the ME-MS construct in a German sample and to explore these individual differences in relation to music preferences. Methods: The German adaptation of the MEMS Inventory was achieved by forward and backward translation. First measurement of proton's charge form factor at very low $Q^2$ with initial state radiation

We report on a new experimental method based on initial-state radiation (ISR) in e-p scattering, in which the radiative tail of the elastic e-p peak contains information on the proton charge form factor ($G_E^p$) at extremely small $Q^2$. The ISR technique was validated in a dedicated experiment using the spectrometers of the A1-Collaboration at the Mainz Microtron (MAMI). This provided first measurements of $G_E^p$ for $0.001\leq Q^2\leq 0.004 (GeV/c)^2$.

El propósito de esta propuesta didáctica consiste en trabajar las cuatro destrezas de los estudiantes a través de fake news, haciendo especial hincapié en la expresión y comprensión escrita, al tiempo que se desarrolla la competencia informacional de los discentes. En cuanto al trabajo de la expresión escrita, este se centrará principalmente en la composición de noticias falsas, tanto de forma individual como colaborativa, empleando para ello procesadores de texto en línea y la autocorrección mediante retroalimentación indirecta.

The questions addressed in the present paper concern the family relations of persons deprived of freedom who – remaining in the prison environment – have been degraded, that is convicts occupying the lowest rung in the informal penitentiary system, so-called victimized prisoners. They make a specific community, rejected and humiliated by other inmates. The necessity to ensure safety to them and help them protect their personal characteristics generates difficulties in activities of rehabilitative character. Charge fluctuations and electric mass in a hot meson gas

Net-Charge fluctuations in a hadron gas are studied using an effective hadronic interaction. The emphasis of this work is to investigate the corrections of hadronic interactions to the charge fluctuations of a non-interacting resonance gas. Several methods, such as loop, density and virial expansions are employed. The calculations are also extended to SU(3) and some resummation schemes are considered. Although the various corrections are sizable individually, they cancel to a large extent. As a consequence we find that charge fluctuations are rather well described by the free resonance gas.
