[EN] Objective: To perform a comparative analysis of indirect and direct costs of two minimally invasive techniques (extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy (ESWL) vs. ureteroscopy with holmium laser (URS/RIRS)) for the treatment of renal/ureteral calculi smaller than 2 cm. Material and methods: Prospective, comparative, non-randomized study of 84 patients treated for kidney stones smaller than 2 cm between January and December 2016. Il lavoro si pone come obiettivo la ricostruzione congetturale del progetto dell’Eden Teatro Biondo (1912) a Palermo di Ernesto Basile (Palermo 1857–1932) a partire dai disegni originari. L’edifico propone una tipologia che fonde cinematografo (al piano terra) e teatro (al piano superiore). Pensato su un fronte di Piazza Verdi, non sarà realizzato per i costi ritenuti troppo elevati dai committenti. Le scansioni dei disegni originari (conservati presso il Fondo Basile del Dipartimento di Architettura dell’Università di Palermo) hanno consentito la vettorializzazione piana utilizzata per l’analisi e per la modellazione 3D. We reconsider the behaviour of prices around the period close to the listing on the Marché à Règlement Mensuel (RM). First, an event study based on a sample of 60 firms has been set up to test the existence of the exchange listing effect on the French market. Then we discuss and test the financial reasons which can justify abnormal returns around the announcement day and the day of the listing. We explore four reasons to explain the impact of the stock exchange listings: one is the informative content of the operation which induces an upward revision of the future earnings. This technical note presents the first Sentinel-2 data service platform for obtaining atmospherically-corrected images and generating the corresponding value-added products for any land surface on Earth (http://s2.boku.eodc.eu/). Using the European Space Agency’s (ESA) Sen2Cor algorithm, the platform processes ESA’s Level-1C top-of-atmosphere reflectance to atmospherically-corrected bottom-of-atmosphere (BoA) reflectance (Level-2A). Thermal infrared (TIR) time series are exploited by many methods based on Earth observation (EO), for such applications as agriculture, forest management, and meteorology. However, due to physical limitations, data acquired by a single sensor are often unsatisfactory in terms of spatial or temporal resolution. This issue can be tackled by using remotely sensed data acquired by multiple sensors with complementary features. Knowledge of soil water content plays a key role in water management efforts to improve irrigation efficiency. Among the indirect estimation methods of soil water content via Earth Observation data is the triangle method, used to analyze optical and thermal features because these are primarily controlled by water content within the near-surface evaporation layer and root zone in bare and vegetated soils.
