Las Estaciones Depuradoras de Aguas Residuales (EDARs) son una pieza básica del conjunto de infraestructuras urbanas, ya que son indispensables para garantizar la salud pública y del medio ambiente. Actualmente, en España existen aproximadamente 3.000 EDARs que tratan 4.700 hm3 de aguas residuales, de los cuales la mayor parte, un 55,8% y un 33,5% son vertidos a cauces fluviales y al mar, respectivamente, mientras que un 10,4% es reutilizado en la agricultura y el riego de jardines, y el 0,3% restante es infiltrado al suelo para la regeneración de acuíferos y otros fines. This article proposes to add the Greek notion of eikos to the debate on the epistemological mandate of psychoanalisis. This term is traditionally translated as likely or probable. The proposed thesis is that such a notion, if adequately understood, can offer an interesting starting point for the understanding of the Freudian concepts of “construction” and “historical truth”.
Generalized curved beam on elastic foundation solved by Transfer Matrix Method

A solution of space curved bars with generalized Winkler soil found by means of Transfer Matrix Method is presented. Distributed, concentrated loads and imposed strains are applied to the beam as well as rigid or elastic boundaries are considered at the ends. The proposed approach gives the analytical and numerical exact solution for circular beams and rings, loaded in the plane or perpendicular to it. A well-approximated solution can be found for general space curved bars with complex geometry. The Symmetric Boundary Element Method based on the Galerkin hypotheses has found application in the nonlinear analysis of plasticity and contact-detachment problems, but dealt with separately. In this paper we wants to treat these complex phenomena together. This method works in structures by introducing a subdivision into sub-structures, distinguished into macroelements, where elastic behaviour is assumed, and bem-elements, where it is possible for plastic strains to occur. In all the sub-structures, elasticity equations are written and regularity conditions in weighted (weak) form and/or in nodal (strong) form between boundaries have to be introduced, to attain the solving equation system.

The aim of this thesis is to provide a preliminary analysis of the aspirations of rural youth in Sámara, Costa Rica and the factors influencing them. This study will supplement the existing literature on aspirations, while providing a new approach to this field. The time course of ACTH action was studied during incubation of quartered rat adrenals by estimation of corticosterone production and secretion rates. The results suggest a two step action of ACTH during the acute stimulation of corticosteroid biosynthesis: A modest initial stimulation was observed within the first 30 min of exposure to ACTH which was overlapped by a marked secondary stimulation between 30 and 60 min.
