[Background and Aim] Histological score systems may not fully capture the essential nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) features, which is one of the leading causes of screening failure in clinical trials. We assessed the NASH distribution and its components across the fibrosis stages and their impact on the prognosis and their relationship with the concept of metabolic-associated fatty liver disease (MAFLD).

This paper takes into account the characterisation of ephemeral stream hydrology from Mediterranean environments. The heavy floods that these countries suffer are due to firstly, the physical watershed features (steep slopes, scarced vegetation cover and thin soils) and, secondly, to the intense and variable rainfall. Large quantities of precipitation fall in a matter of hours, or even minutes, over very steep catchments, causing catastrophic flash-floods, with very pointed hydrographs and short time lags. Obowiązek stałej aktualizacji wiedzy pielęgniarek i położnych reguluje ustawa o zawodzie pielęgniarki i położnej oraz kodeks etyki. Okręgowa Izba Pielęgniarek i Położnych w Katowicach, jako organizator kształcenia podyplomowego, prowadząc wszystkie rodzaje kształcenia, przeszkoliła dotąd ponad 50 tysięcy uprawnionych osób. Celem pracy było dokonanie ewaluacji podjętych działań, w oparciu o materiały korporacyjne z lat 2000-2017. Przedstawione wyniki, w ujęciu ilościowym, obrazują poziom realnego zainteresowania kursami specjalistycznymi oraz kwalifikacyjnymi, a także źródła ich finansowania.

Maternal immunization is considered the best intervention in order to prevent influenza infection of pregnant women and influenza and pertussis infection of newborns. Despite the existing recommendations, vaccination coverage rates in Italy remain very low. Starting from August 2018, maternal immunization against influenza and diphtheria-tetanus-pertussis were strongly recommended by the Italian Ministry of Health. A pedagogical approach to the Magnus expansion

Time-dependent perturbation theory as a tool to compute approximate solutions of the Schrodinger equation does not preserve unitarity. Here we present, in a simple way, how the Magnus expansion (also known as exponential perturbation theory) provides such unitary approximate solutions. The purpose is to illustrate the importance and consequences of such a property. We suggest that the Magnus expansion may be introduced to students in advanced courses of quantum mechanics.
