La herramienta Malnutrition Screening Tool (MST) está validada en paciente hospitalizado y oncológico ambulatorio. Objetivo: analizar por ámbitos sociosanitarios y grupos etarios los cribados MST, Malnutrition Universal Screening Tool (MUST) y Mini Nutritional Assessment-Short Form (MNA-sf) respecto a la valoración nutricional completa (VNC) como patrón de referencia, y evaluar la utilidad del MST en aquellos ámbitos donde no está validado. En esta tesis se pretende contruir una herramienta de detección precoz que detecte cualquier alteración que se produzca en el desarrollo del niño como una medida preventiva de posibles trastornos posteriores más graves. En esta investigación se ha diseñado una herramienta basada en web y apoyada en videos para facilitar a las familias la administración. El sistema esta compuesto de 7 cuestionarios pero en esta tesis estan validados los 3 cuestionarios (18 meses, 24 meses y 36 meses). Achlya spiralis, a new aquatic oomycete with bent oogonial stalks, isolated from the Burgundian region of France

Achlya spiralis sp. nov. was isolated from water samples collected in the river Tille in the Burgundian region of France. The new oomycete is described, illustrated and compared with related species of the genus Achlya. It is characterized by the presence of smooth-walled oogonia that are usually borne on bent or twisted oogonial stalks; mainly monoclinous, androgynous and diclinous antheridial branches and eccentric oospores which generally do not mature or mature after a long period of time. This work addresses the way in which Argentine Fat Activism has developed, in recent years, the demand for depathologization of fatness, taking elements from critical discourses on the health of fat people to frame them in a perspective typical of the Human Rights. First, the contemporary fat body is described in terms of stigma and discrimination, especially in the health field. Background Proton pump inhibitors (PPIs) are among the most misused drugs both at the community and hospital level. Recently, possible risks have been underscored, suggesting the importance of limiting PPI use to proven indications. Objective To survey the appropriateness of PPI use in a University hospital in Italy. Setting Azienda Ospedaliera Universitaria Policlinico ‘P. Giaccone’, in Palermo, Italy. We describe an HLA-B8, DR3-positive patient with localized morphea after silicone gel breast implantation for cosmetic reasons. We believe that this case suggests that a genetic background, i.e. HLA-B8, DR3 haplotype, is involved in the autoimmune response to silicone.

En el presente trabajo se revisan y actualizan las recomendaciones de PrevInfad sobre el cribado de alteraciones visuales en la infancia. Se analizan los beneficios en salud de la deteccion precoz, la validez y seguridad de las pruebas de cribado, la efectividad del tratamiento y los posibles riesgos de la deteccion precoz y el tratamiento de los problemas detectados. PrevInfad recomienda incluir la inspeccion ocular y la prueba del reflejo rojo en las visitas de salud de los primeros seis meses de vida, asi como la deteccion de alteraciones visuales (ambliopia, estrabismo y errores de refraccion) a la edad de 3-5 anos.
