Līgas Āboltiņas vadībā, laika posmā no 2022. gada janvāra līdz 2022. gada maijam. Darba mērķis ir sekmēt 2 – 3 gadus vecu bērnu runas attīstību āra vidē, izmantojot dabas materiālus. Diplomdarbā izvirzītie uzdevumi ir: veikt teorētisko nostādņu par bērnu runas veidošanos 1. posmā analīzi; izzināt 2 – 3 gadus vecu bērnu runas attīstības veicināšanas metodoloģiju; veikt izmēģinājuma darbību par 2 – 3 gadus vecu bērnu runas sekmēšanu un analizēt iegūtos rezultātus. …
Stāstu izmantošana dabaszinību mācībās Montesori skolās 4.–6. klasē
2022
1990
AbstractThis paper deals with zigzag factorizations and zigzag codes. The language of “zigzag” over a regular language is represented by constructing a special family of two-way automata. Decidability of zigzag codes, previously shown for the finite languages, is proved here for all regular languages by the analysis of the set of “crossing sequences” produced by a two-way automation in the family. We also obtain that it is decidable whether or not a two-way automation of a certain type is non-ambiguous.RésuméDans ce papier on reprend les notions de factorisation zigzag et de code zigzag. On construit pour tout langage rationnel, une famille d'automates bilatéres lesquels reconnaissent les m…
Red Spectral Forms of Chlorophylls in Green Plant PSI - A Site-Selective and High-Pressure Spectroscopy Study
2003
One of the special spectroscopic characteristics of photosystem I (PSI) complexes is that they possess absorption and emission bands at lower energy than those of the reaction center. In this paper, the red pigment pools of PSI-200, PSI-core, and LHCI complex from Arabidopsis thaliana have been characterized at low temperatures by means of spectrally selective (hole-burning and fluorescence line-narrowing) and high-pressure spectroscopic techniques. It was shown that the green plant PSI-200 complex has at least three red pigment pools, from which two are located in the PSI-core and one, in the peripheral light-harvesting complex I (LHCI). All of the red pigment pools are characterized by st…
Plasmonic nanostructures for light trapping in thin-film solar cells
2019
M.J.M. acknowledges funding from FCT through the grant SFRH/BPD/115566/2016. ALTALUZ (Reference PTDC/CTM-ENE/5125/2014). The optical properties of localized surface plasmon resonances (LSPR) sustained by self-assembled silver nanoparticles are of great interest for enhancing light trapping in thin film photovoltaics. First, we report on a systematic investigation of the structural and the optical properties of silver nanostructures fabricated by a solid-state dewetting process on various substrates. Our study allows to identify fabrication conditions in which circular, uniformly spaced nanoparticles are obtainable. The optimized NPs are then integrated into plasmonic back reflector (PBR) st…
Testing reticulate versus coalescent origins of Erica lusitanica using a species phylogeny of the northern heathers (Ericeae, Ericaceae).
2015
Whilst most of the immense species richness of heathers (Calluna, Daboecia and Erica: Ericeae; Ericaceae) is endemic to Africa, particularly the Cape Floristic Region, the oldest lineages are found in the Northern Hemisphere. We present phylogenetic hypotheses for the major clades of Ericeae represented by multiple accessions of all northern Erica species and placeholder taxa for the large nested African/Madagascan clade. We identified consistent, strongly supported conflict between gene trees inferred from ITS and chloroplast DNA sequences with regard to the position of Erica lusitanica. We used coalescent simulations to test whether this conflict could be explained by coalescent stochasti…
Polycaprolactone-based scaffold for oil-selective sorption and improvement of bacteria activity for bioremediation of polluted water: Porous PCL syst…
2017
A novel floatable and biodegradable sponge for the selective absorption of oil from water and potentially useful as cell carrier for bioremediation treatments was prepared in polycaprolactone (PCL). The eco-friendly process for fabricating the PCL sponge does not involve either synthetic routes or organic solvents, thus minimizing environmental hazard. In particular, the 3D porous materials have been prepared by mixing in the melt the polymer matrix with two water-soluble porogen agents (NaCl and PEG) and thereafter leaching the obtained PCL/NaCl/PEG composites in water. The PCL sponges here proposed are capable to remove different types of oily pollutants (up to 500 wt%), and were successf…
Frequency Range Selection Method for Vibrational Spectra
2018
Theoretical calculations of vibrational properties are widely used to explain and predict experimental spectra. However, with standard quantum chemical methods all molecular motions are considered, which is rather time-consuming for large molecules. Because typically only a specific spectral region is of experimental interest, we propose here an efficient method that allows calculation of only a selected frequency interval. After a computationally cheap low-level estimate of the molecular motions, the computational time is proportional to the number of normal modes needed to describe this frequency range. Results for a medium-sized molecule show a reduction in computational time of up to 1 …
Measurement and control of electron wave packets from a single-electron source
2015
We report an experimental technique to measure and manipulate the arrival-time and energy distributions of electrons emitted from a semiconductor electron pump, operated as both a single-electron source and a two-electron source. Using an energy-selective detector whose transmission we control on picosecond time scales, we can measure directly the electron arrival-time distribution and we determine the upper bound to the distribution width to be 30 ps. We study the effects of modifying the shape of the voltage wave form that drives the electron pump, and show that our results can be explained by a tunneling model of the emission mechanism. This information was in turn used to control the em…
