Tutkimus analysoi Länsi-Afrikan itsenäistymisprosessista käytyä keskustelua Britannian parlamentin ylä- ja alahuoneissa vuosien 1945–1965 välisenä aikana. Tämä tapahtuu tarkastelemalla Quentin Skinnerin, Chaïm Perelmanin sekä Reinhart Koselleckin metodisten oppien mukaisesti parlamentin edustajien argumentaatiota ja heidän käyttämiään käsitteitä sekä retorisia keinoja. Ensisijaisina alkuperäislähteinä tutkimuksessa käytetään Britannian parlamentin istuntopäiväkirjoja. Researchers have attempted to address the intersection of multisensory and multimodal discourse practices from an interactional perspective. This study argues for the value of experiential, non-interactional multisensory discourse resources and proposes a conceptual framework of multisensory discourse resources to bridge visual and family language ideology ethnography. By analysing three museums exhibition, this article investigates how the history of European colonialism is approached in an attempt to identify potential for decolonising European minds. The case studies consist of a temporary exhibition (2016–2017) concerning German colonialism at the Deutsches Historisches Museum in Berlin; the permanent exhibition of the House of European History in Brussels and the permanent exhibition of the Sagres Promontory (Portugal), a heritage site related to the conquest of the Americas. In this essay we critically reflect on our respective journeys to and within cultural sport psychology (CSP). Since the inception, CSP scholars have advocated for opening the privileged academic space for marginalised voices and omitted subject themes; as well as cautioned researchers that the CSP project itself needs to be constantly revisited and reworked to keep it in progressive flux. Abstract In this piece, the authors question whether critical language research, in its complex collection of researcher choices, is possible beyond the discursive imaginary of critical academic scholarship. In other words, how do (allegedly) anticolonial efforts re-orient towards contribution to the imperial record? We present three vignettes, through which we grapple with the notion that researcher choice exists within the solipsism of academia.
