Assessment of the physical and emotional health concerning the students' physical activity during the COVID-19 pandemic

Introduction. SARS CoV-2 caused the third global pandemic and by applying quarantine / isolation / lockdown, the movement was restricted, the physical contact between people was reduced, the physical activity was low, but the activities using electronic devices at home were frequent. The aim of the study was to assess the physical and emotional health in relation to the physical activities done during quarantine/ isolation during the pandemic. Material and method. Author's version of a chapter in the book: L. Kelley (Ed.), Entrepreneurial women : new management and leadership models. The paper identifies commonalities and differences between women and men in terms of eleven key factors’ impact on the formation of entrepreneurial intentions (EIs) among Norwegian students. The analysis is based on a sample of 1,782 Norwegian students from a variety of faculties and degree programs. A path analysis methodological approach is used, while being based on multiple regressions so as to gradually refine model complexities. Izvirzītais darba mērķis ir noskaidrot, kā uz stāstiem balstīti uzdevumi var palīdzēt pilnveidot vidusskolēnu teksta izpratni angļu valodas stundās. Atsevišķa gadījuma pētījums ir izvēlēts kā pētījuma metode, kas tika realizēts Siguldas Valsts ģimnāzijas 10. klases angļu valodas stundās. Tās dalībnieki bija 13 skolēni. Celem niniejszego artykułu jest ukazanie struktury źródeł finansowania wydatków studentów pobierających naukę na poziomie wyższym (studia) w Opolu. Prezentowany materiał stanowi efekt kilkuletnich badań empirycznych, które wykonano we wszystkich uczelniach wyższych prowadzących działalność edukacyjną w Opolu, mającym status regionalnego ośrodka akademickiego. Próba do badań została ustalona w sposób kwotowy, zaś same badania przeprowadzono na dobranej próbie 1075 osób, będących w czasie badań studentami opolskich uczelni wyższych. Abstract This study describes students’ experiences in project-based learning (PjBL) incorporated as part of a revised undergraduate analytical chemistry laboratory course. We examined which phases were the easiest as well as the most challenging and what student skills developed during the research project. The research data were collected between 2016 and 2018 via two questionnaires. They were analyzed both quantitatively and qualitatively. One questionnaire focused on the whole course (in 2016–2018, n = 127) of which only the answers on the research project questions were analyzed.
