Scopo Il coinvolgimento delle ghiandole lacrimali (GL) in pazienti affetti da Oftalmopatia di Graves (OG) è stato considerato come una potenziale causa dei sintomi tipicamente associati a questa malattia. The precise detection of cancer cells currently remains a global challenge. One-dimensional (1D) semiconductor nanostructures (e.g., ZnO nanorods) have attracted attention due to their potential use in cancer biosensors. In the current study, it was demonstrated that the possibility of a photoluminescent detection of human leukemic T-cells by using a zinc oxide nanorods (ZnO NRs) platform. Monoclonal antibodies (MABs) anti-CD5 against a cluster of differentiation (CD) proteins on the pathologic cell surface have been used as a bioselective layer on the ZnO surface. Purpose: The Italian Registry of Contrast Material use in Cardiac Computed Tomography (iRCM-CCT) is a multicenter, multivendor, observational study on the use of contrast media (CM) in patients undergoing cardiac computed tomography (CCT). The aim of iRCM-CCT is to assess image quality and safety profile of intravenous CM compounds. SCOPO DEL LAVORO Presentiamo un caso di una paziente di 24 anni che giunge alla nostra attenzione per la comparsa di disartria come quadro clinico d’esordio di una forma aggressiva di malattia demielinizzante di cui si valuta l’atipica evoluzione neuroradiologica delle lesioni pseudotumorali che la caratterizzano e le possibili diagnosi differenziali. International audience; This paper presents a method based on shape-context and statistical measures to match interventional 2D Trans Rectal Ultrasound (TRUS) slice during prostate biopsy to a 2D Magnetic Resonance (MR) slice of a pre-acquired prostate volume. Accurate biopsy tissue sampling requires translation of the MR slice information on the TRUS guided biopsy slice. Physiological parameters measurements in a cardiac cycle via a combo PPG-ECG system

In this paper, we present an innovative way to measure some physiological parameters (such as the pre-ejection period, the pulse transit time, the blood pressure) in a cardiac cycle. A combo PPG-ECG system has been developed and employed to extract both the ECG signal from standard limb leads and simultaneously the photoplethysmography signal from the wrist and the forearm, to calculate the pre-ejection period. This system represents an easy and non-invasive technique to determine these biomedical parameters without using expensive impedance cardiography equipment.
