Objetivos: Determinar la fiabilidad y validez de contenido y concepto de la Mackey Childbirth Satisfaction Rating Scale, escala para medir la satisfacción de las mujeres con el parto y el nacimiento. Métodos: Se utilizó el método de traducción-retrotraducción para obtener una versión adaptada de la escala. Para la validación se seleccionó una muestra de 325 mujeres que habían tenido un hijo sano mediante parto vaginal. Abstract Background and purpose The present study was performed to test the hypothesis that lactate accumulation correlates with the radioresistance of malignant tumors due to the radical scavenging capacity of lactate or metabolic intermediates of glycolysis, such as pyruvate. Materials and methods Five human head and neck squamous cell carcinoma cell lines (HNSCCs) xenografted in nude mice were treated with a clinically relevant irradiation protocol with 30 fractions within 6 weeks. Comparative imaging of structure and metabolites in tumours.

A novel technique for metabolic imaging using quantitative bioluminescence and single photon imaging was used to measure the distribution of ATP and lactate in two types of human melanoma xenografts with different radiobiologically hypoxic cell fractions (MF: 45 +/- 17% and EE: 6 +/- 3%; mean +/- SD). The tumours were s.c. grown in nude mice and were used for measurement at volumes of 153-3072 mm3. Abstract Background The prevalence of trigeminal neuralgia (TN) in Multiple Sclerosis (MS) patients is higher than in the general population and its management can be particularly challenging. Our aim is to describe the characteristics, treatment and prognostic factors of MS-related TN in a retrospective multicentre study. Methods Neurologists members of the RIREMS group (Rising Researchers in MS) enrolled MS patients with a TN diagnosis and filled out a spreadsheet comprising their clinical data. VALIDACIÓN DE UNA ESCALA PARA EL ANÁLISIS DE LAS PERCEPCIONES DE LOS RESIDENTES SOBRE EL IMPACTO SOCIAL DE UN CENTRO DEPORTIVO

Resumen La finalidad de este estudio es validar una escala para el análisis de las percepciones de los residentes sobre el impacto social de un centro deportivo. Se recogió una muestra de 406 residentes del municipio de Moncada (Valencia), con un error de muestreo de ±4,82, que contestaron a una encuesta de 31 ítems que recogían posibles impactos sociales derivados de la presencia del centro deportivo en la localidad.
