Background and Aims: The Boston Carpal Tunnel Questionnaire is the most commonly used outcome measure in the assessment of carpal tunnel syndrome. The purpose of this study was to translate the original Boston Carpal Tunnel Questionnaire into Finnish and validate its psychometric properties. Materials and Methods: We translated and culturally adapted the Boston Carpal Tunnel Questionnaire into Finnish. Subsequently, 193 patients completed the Finnish version of the Boston Carpal Tunnel Questionnaire, 6-Item CTS Symptoms Scale, and EuroQol 5 Dimensions 12 months after carpal tunnel release. Demographic variables and fathers’ involvement with their child with disabilities

The main purpose of this study is to examine whether fathers’ involvement with their child with disabilities is correlated with some of the demographic variables. Data were collected from 243 Polish fathers who were married and who had at least one child with disabilities. The issue was assessed by two measures: a Questionnaire and the Father Involvement Scale. Autonomia dorosłych osób z niepełnosprawnością intelektualną - perspektywa porównawcza

Głównym celem przedstawionych w artykule badań własnych było określenie, jaki jest poziom autonomii dorosłych osób z głębszą niepełnosprawnością intelektualną (N = 133) mieszkających w różnych środowiskach. Uwzględniono perspektywę dorosłych osób mieszkających z rodzicami (N = 62), pensjonariuszy domów pomocy społecznej (N = 40) oraz mieszkańców domów L’Arche (N = 31). Wiek respondentów mieścił się przedziale od 18 do 68 lat (M = 38,82; SD = 12,71). Posłużono się metodą sondażu diagnostycznego.
