Se estudia la producción española de documentación e información médicas, en sus distintas áreas de especialización, hasta el año 1991. Se analiza el crecimiento de la producción de los diferentes tipos de documentos sobre la disciplina, así como las materias, instituciones de procedencia y distribución geográfica . Los resultados muestran la gran dispersión de los trabajos sobre el tema y el predominio de los estudios dedicados a la documentación clínica, producidos en instituciones hospitalarias.
3D mosaic documentation using close range photogrammetry

The paper describes the close range photogrammetric survey of a roman mosaic stored at Regional Archaeological Museum “Antonino Salinas” in Palermo (Italy). The aim of the work is the production of a full-scale representation (scale 1:1) of the mosaic useful for documentation and restoration processes. The research has allowed evaluating limit and potentiality of image-based approach using photogrammetric and computer vision (Structure for Motion) techniques in a context where the metric point of view is a very important factor.

Research platform for medical device development to simplify translation to the market

New regulations for medical products complicate research projects for new application fields and translation of innovative product ideas to refundable medical products becomes a high economic risk. All this demands for a CE-marked platform, which offers the possibility to access the recorded data online or even directly the hardware during research applications, to bridge the gap. This paper describes how a CE-marked medical product can be extended by different interfaces to enable basic research or simplify first proof-of-concept studies thus optimizing prototype development in research projects, simplifying the documentation process and reducing the risk for market access.

On the performance of the Spanish teachers that accompanied the so called «Children of Morelia» expedition, the specialists that have dealt with the topic so far have made a severe negative judgment. In this work we bring to light, for the first time and through unpublished documentation, the repeated initiatives that these teachers took to try to complete their guardian mission, which could not be carried out completely due to the position of the Mexican authorities.
