In this thesis, a long analysis has been undertaken that has dealt with a multitude of issues pertaining to the EU, European integration theories, codecision, the Lisbon treaty, the Common Agricultural Policy, transports policy, and environmental policy. Pro gradu-tutkielmassa tarkastellaan ala- ja yhtenäiskouluissa työskentelevien Yhteispeli-toimintamalliin koulutettujen opettajien ja rehtoreiden käsityksiä intervention käyttämisen tuomista positiivisista ja negatiivisista muutoksista oppilaissa tai heidän toiminnassaan. Tutkimuksen teoreettinen viitekehys koostuu tunne- ja vuorovaikutustaitojen määrittelystä sekä pedagogisen rehtoriuden ja opettajuuden määrittelystä. Tutkielma selvittää miten kaksi- ja monikieliset henkilöt kokevat monikulttuurisen identiteettinsä sekä mahdollisen tuen tarpeen. Toisekseen tutkielman tarkoituksena oli selvittää, minkälaisia käsityksiä ja ideoita kielten opettajilla oli sen suhteen, miten he voisivat tukea oppilaita heidän monikulttuurisen identiteettinsä kanssa. Suomessa syksyllä 2016 käyttöön otettava perusopetuksen perussuunnitelma painottaa mm. monikulttuurisuutta yhdessä kielten ja kulttuurisen osaamisen kanssa sekä oppilaiden yksilöllistä kasvua kokonaisvaltaisesti tukien. Yleispuolueteorian mukaan puolueet ovat alkaneet muistuttaa kasvavissa määrin toisiaan. Liitän osaksi tätä kehitystä postmaterialististen arvojen nousun politiikan kentälle, koska nämä arvot tuovat osaltaan epäselvyyttä perinteiselle puolueiden oikeisto-vasemmisto –jaottelulle politiikan ristiriitaulottuvuuden muuttuessa multiakseliseksi. Postmaterialistiset arvot ovat tulkittavuudessaan puolueille väline tavoitella poliittista keskustaa, koska ne luovat pelitilaa.
