Si espone qui la sperimentazione di un metodo di analisi e valutazione del danno ispirato all’approccio sociologico di N. Nuhmann (1990), che definisce l’ambiente per differenza rispetto ai processi comunicativi che informano il sistema sociale e quindi il danno ambientale come difetto della comunicazione tra sub-sistemi. In questa logica la valutazione del risarcimento è stata condotta con riferimento al rapporto verticale tra unità inquinanti e supporto naturale e orizzontale tra i diversi sub-sistemi che comunicano “sull’ambiente”. Flexural Behavior of Steel Fibrous Reinforced Concrete Deep Beams

Experimental research was carried out regarding the flexural behavior of deep beams cast with plain and fibrous concrete with hooked steel fibers, and subjected to monotonic vertical loads. Four deep fiber-reinforced concrete beams were cast. Two of them were made of plain concrete with main and web steel reinforcements (RC), and two were made of hooked steel fiber-reinforced concrete (SFRC) with main steel reinforcements. The experimental results show the brittle behavior of reinforced deep RC members characterized by crushing of concrete struts and fracture of web steel bars. Ikääntyminen aiheuttaa siinä heikkenemistä, joka aiheutuu muutoksista sekä sensorisissa että motorisissa prosesseissa. Kaatumisesta aiheutuneiden vammojen määrä kasvaa koko ajan ikääntyneillä. Heidän onkin havaittu pärjäävän nuoria huonommin sekä staattisissa että dynaamisissa testeissä mutta dynaamisissa testeissä ero on vieläkin suurempi. Kirjallinen tuottaminen on olennainen osa kielten kouluopetusta Suomessa. Perinteisesti kirjalliset tuotokset arvioidaan ja opettaja antaa niistä palautetta. Tämä kandidaatin tutkielma selvittää yhden lukioryhmän osalta, millaista palautetta opettaja antoi heidän kirjoittamistaan esseistä ja kuinka oppilaat kokivat tämän palautteen. Tutkielmassa on käytetty sekä laadullisia että määrällisiä tutkimusotteita. Ensin oppilaat kirjoittivat lukiokurssillaan esseet, jotka opettaja arvosteli ja antoi niistä kommentteja. The power of assessment: What (dis)empowers students in their EFL assessment in a Finnish upper secondary school?

Assessment wields a great deal of power over students. Yet, there is little research on how students, either in general or as individuals, experience assessment. Therefore, this study aimed to explore what disempowers or empowers students in EFL assessment. A total of 146 students from one Finnish upper secondary school answered a questionnaire on assessment and feedback in their EFL studies. The study utilises mixed methods: primarily, the questionnaire data was analysed quantitatively (principal component analysis, step-wise regression analysis), secondarily, qualitative data and analysis were also used.
