Bullying at work has profound effects on both the individual and organization. We aimed to determine if organizational psychosocial safety climate (PSC; a climate specific to worker psychological health) could reduce workplace bullying and associated psychological health problems (i.e., distress, emotional exhaustion, depression) if specific procedures were implemented (PSC enactment). [Otro] Cie¿om práce je posúdi¿ vplyv veku a emo¿nej valencie na znovupoznávanie slov v rámci ex-Gaussových distribu¿ných komponentov. Dvom vekovým skupinám sme administrovali test znovupoznávania slov, v ktorom sme manipulovali emo¿nou valenciou. U mladších respondentov sa prejavili štatisticky signifikantné rozdiely pri negatívnych slovách v experimentálnej podmienke a v podmienke s distrakciou. U starších respondentov sme v odpove¿ových ¿asoch nezistili jasnú tendenciu. The aim of the present project is to provide a better understanding of how safety messages can control drivers' vulnerable road user detection abilities. Safety messages provide both vulnerability information and elicit emotion with persons that are exposed to it. This thesis deals with how vulnerability information and emotions respectively affect vulnerable road user detection performances. A special focus was placed on cyclists because of the lack of studies that address cyclist detetcion issues. The project also focused on physiology, especially emotion identification through physiological patterns.

Pētījuma ietvaros tiek noskaidrots, kā saturiski un psihometriski atšķiras Saloveja un Goldmena vispārīgo garastāvokļa iezīmju konstrukts un Šutes emocionālā intelekta konstrukts, neskatoties uz to, ka abas aptaujas izmanto par pamatu vienu un to pašu emocionāla intelekta teoriju. Pētījuma dalībnieki ir studenti no dažādām Latvijas pilsētām – Rīgas (71%), Liepājas (22%), Ventspils (3%), Rēzeknes (3%), Jūrmalas (1%). Respondentu vecums ir no 18 līdz 33 gadiem (M = 22,9).
