Emotionally Focused Couple Therapy (EFT), an attachment-based couple therapy, views emotion as being central to the process of therapeutic change. As affect arousal of emotion is a somatic reaction, the purpose of this study was to focus on therapists’ interventions classified as noting and commenting on clients’ somatic cue of emotional experience, such as their facial expression or posture, in relation to depth of emotional experiencing demonstrated by clients in EFT couple therapy sessions. The cumulative effect of positive or negative feedback on subsequent emotional experiences remains unclear. Elucidating this effect could help individuals to better understand and accept the change in emotional experience, irrespective of when they or others receive consecutive positive or negative feedback. This study aimed to examine this effect on 37 participants using self-reported pleasantness and event-related potential data as indicators. Šī maģistra darba mērķis bija noskaidrot, cik lielā mērā emocionālais inteleks un kontroles lokuss paredz prokrastināciju un noteikt saistības starp prokrastināciju, emocionālo intelektu un kontroles lokusu. Pētījumā piedalījās 109 studējoši respondenti vecumā no 19 līdz 42 gadiem (M = 25,5; SD = 5,43). Pētījumā tika pielietotas trīs aptaujas: Akadēmiskās prokrastinācijas aptauja (Academic Procrastination Scale, Lay,1986), Emocionālā intelekta aptauja (The Self-Report Emotional Intelligence Test, STREIT, Schutte et al., 1998, kā minēts Shutte, Malouff & Bhullar, 2009) un Internālā – eksternālā kontroles lokusa skala (Rotter, J.B., 1966). O osobliwościach słowa kuriozum

Celem artykułu jest językoznawcza refleksja nad słowem kuriozum. Autorka artykułu nie tylko pokazuje w nim historię słowa w polszczyźnie, ale przede wszystkim rekonstruuje (na podstawie funkcjonujących w języku synonimów wyrazu kuriozum oraz licznych przykładów jego użycia) strukturę semantyczną słowa. Zwraca uwagę na jego niezwykłe bogactwo znaczeniowe, wielość semantycznych odcieni, a także różnorodność wyrażanych nim emocji. Równocześnie pokazuje, że zawarte we współczesnych słownikach języka polskiego definicje słownikowe kuriozum (będące punktem wyjścia poczynionych analiz) nie oddają w pełni semantycznej złożoności słowa.
