The fusion of the new emblems of techno-emancipation and sustainability in experimental hypotheses that can be built both in whole or in parts draws a new horizon in which the domestic space generates a technological profit and the inhabitants are transformed into producers. From a historical perspective our reality eclipses the idea of technology as an anonymous contribution to collective progress demonstrated by Giedion in Mechanization takes command and subverts the allegorical value assigned by the Architecture of the Seventies to the relational utopias of the Web Stem and Cluster.

Il saggio presenta lo studio degli intonaci formulati per imitare le pietre e i marmi naturali che si diffondono in Sicilia all’inizio del XX secolo ed evidenzia che le prime applicazioni e la diffusione delle nuove malte, anche nel resto dell’Italia, risentono delle sperimentazioni condotte in tutta l’Europa. The paper presents the study of the plaster formulated to imitate the natural stones and marbles that are popular in Sicily in the early twentieth century and points out that the first applications and the dissemination of new mortars also in the rest of Italy feels the influence of the experiments conducted throughout Europe . The contribution summarizes the results of a rigorous and thorough reconnaissance of patents kept in the Archivio Centrale dello Stato in Rome relating to mortars for plastering an artificial stone critically analyzes the content and emphasizes cultural contacts with the experiments on large-scale restoration projects in Italy and France in the late nineteenth century. The analysis of the architectural surfaces is developed with instrumental tests: the levels of adhesion of finishing surface are characterized in particular through a campaign of thermographic investigations and diagnosis is drawn to show that the consolidation of the layers and reintegration are interventions to be introduced ​​within the restoration project and maintenance program.Settore ICAR/19 - Restauro

Epistemic and didactic values of the demonstrative process in different cultures: a case study in Geometry with Chinese and Italian students

This paper presents same key findings of the research project conducted by G.R.I.M. of Palermo on the approaches to justification and proof in Geometry by investigating how Chinese and Italian teachers and students taught particular geometrical topics refereed to different epistemic and didactic values related to own culture. It was found that Chinese teachers and students emphasized justification of the proof by a stressed visual verification based on some metarules linked with the structure of their own written language and defined as historical Chinese modus operandi in the Jiuzhang Suanshu. The Italians paid close attention to mathematical proof by a hypoxemic deductive system defined on the Euclide’ Elements. The geometrical problem discussed on the paper was defined and presented as “one problem multiple solution problems” and “one problem multiple changes”. Important aspect of the case study discussed in the paper focus on the mediation of knowledge between Chinese and Italian students involved in multicultural class. Varoņu attēlojuma analīze spēlē “Leģendu līga”

Šajā pētījumā analizēti trīs reģionu apraksti un attiecīgo čempionu biogrāfijas, kas atrodami Leģendu Līgas stāstā. Pašlaik esošie pētījumi par spēļu varoņiem pētījums ir saistīti ar varoņu dzimumu vai citiem aspektiem. Pētījuma mērķis bija noskaidrot rakstura īpašības, kas veicina rakstura atveidi, un noteikt, kādi izteiksmes līdzekļi tiek izmantoti, lai šīs īpašības uzsvērtu stāstā. Pētījuma jautājums bija vērsts uz čempiona piederības noteikšanu konkrētajam reģionam pēc attiecīgajām īpašībām. Pētījums veikts, izmantojot tematisko analīzi.
