Purpose This multicenter phase II trial evaluated lurbinectedin (PM01183), a selective inhibitor of active transcription of protein-coding genes, in patients with metastatic breast cancer. A unicenter translational substudy assessed potential mechanisms of lurbinectedin resistance. Patients and Methods Two arms were evaluated according to germline BRCA1/2 status: BRCA1/2 mutated (arm A; n = 54) and unselected ( BRCA1/2 wild-type or unknown status; arm B; n = 35). Si esamina la diffusione e la circolazione delle reliquie da Roma alla Sicilia e la conseguente proliferazione, a seguito dei dettami del Concilio di Trento recepiti dai vari Sinodi diocesani, di sacre custodie in metallo prezioso o in legno. Vengono, infatti, indagati alcuni reliquiari d’argento che, custoditi nei Tesori siciliani, sono contestualizzati nella pertinente temperie storico-culturale. New increasingly complex in vitro cancer cell models are being developed. These new models seem to represent the cell behavior in vivo more accurately and have better physiological relevance than prior models. An efficient testing method for selecting the most optimal drug treatment does not exist to date. One proposed solution to the problem involves isolation of cancer cells from the patients' cancer tissue, after which they are exposed to potential drugs alone or in combinations to find the most optimal medication. A new species of temnocephalan is described from the branchial chambers ofValdivia serratain Colombia asTemnocephala ivandarioisp. nov.The most distinctive characters of the new species are in the cirrus and the epidermal ‘excretory’ syncytial plates. In the present study, the terminology to describe the cirrus of species ofTemnocephalais updated. Comparison between the shape of the cirrus of the temnocephalans associated with trichodactylid crabs is also provided.
