Exploration of chemical reactions in complex explicit environments has become an affordable task with the use of hybrid quantum mechanics/molecular mechanics potentials which allow calculating free energy profiles of chemical reactions under the influence of the surroundings. Measurement of multi-jet cross sections in proton-proton collisions at a 7 TeV center-of-mass energy

Inclusive multi-jet production is studied in proton–proton collisions at a center-of-mass energy of 7 TeV, using the ATLAS detector. The data sample corresponds to an integrated luminosity of 2.4 pb−1. Results on multi-jet cross sections are presented and compared to both leading-order plus parton-shower Monte Carlo predictions and to next-to-leading-order QCD calculations.

Resume Lˈobjectif de cette etude est de mettre en evidence le lien entre evenements de vie et depression a partir de la distinction entre les evenements dependants et independants du sujet. Apres avoir rappele quelques donnees de la litterature concernant les resultats et les problemes methodologiques lies a lˈevaluation des evenements de vie, nous presentons les resultats de notre etude. Celle-ci montre que les sujets deprimes (n = 38) rapportent davantage dˈevenements negatifs que le groupe temoin (n = 38) (2,4 fois plus) mais contrairement a nos attentes, cette superiorite concerne toutes les categories dˈevenements (dependants et independants). Concretamente, este estudio evalua el papel de la impulsividad y las expectativas asociadas al consumo, asi como la posible mediacion de las expectativas en la relacion entre impulsividad y CIA. 303 estudiantes de primer curso de la Universidad Complutense de Madrid que realizan CIA cumplimentaron un autoregistro de consumo, una escala de expectativas asociadas a esta ingesta (IECI, 2012) y la escala BIS-11 de impulsividad.
