This survey focuses on the immigration phenomenon in Spain and its impact on contemporary Spanish society. Studying how numerous immigrants have been settling in Spain is a way to account for the evolution of Spanish society: on the one hand by analysing how and why a country that traditionally used to export its labour-force could attract immigrants; and on the other hand by examining how Spain has been managing these influxes. Quelle est la valeur du choix de l’écriture autobiographique dans le parcours littéraire des trois écrivains : Simone de Beauvoir, Nathalie Sarraute et Marguerite Yourcenar ? L’étude des enjeux et des caractéristiques de l’autobiographie féminine au XXe siècle permet de mettre en valeur les ambivalences de l’écriture de soi en tenant compte de l’impact des composantes psychologiques, historiques et sociales dans la détermination de l’écriture autobiographique de la « génération Beauvoir ».

On the basis of two novels by Ángeles Mastretta, Arráncame la vida and Mal de amores - whose publication is separated by a ten years interval – I have attempted to show how the female character responds to a specific project of representation and writing. The present thesis emphasises both the variety of characters in the two novels and the constants that allow establishing a "system of characters" corresponding to the exploration of the subject matter dear to the novelist: the status of women in the society, their possibilities to act as well as the relationships they enter, which have a prominent place in Mastretta’s novels. Des cantigas de amigo médiévales aux Décimas de Violeta Parra : chants d’amour et de désamour au féminin ?

The present study is centered on the Spanish-speaking world in a diachronic perspective, and aims to highlight recognizable recurring elements in compositions in which a poetic feminine voice expresses its feelings. Some poetic constraints are at work from the earliest compositions of female lyricism in Spain (cantigas de amigo) and one notices formal and thematic constants in more recent traditional songs (romancero and cancionero). Our analysis focuses then on the poetic work of Violeta Parra (Décimas and some canciones), who has made formal choices which are usually exclusively used by masculine authors.
