In the available psychological literature, affect regulation is fundamentally considered in terms of self-regulation, and according to this standard picture, the contribution of other people in our affect regulation has been viewed in terms of socially assisted selfregulation. The present article challenges this standard picture. By focusing on affect regulation as it unfolds in early infancy, it will be argued that instead of being something original and fundamental, self-regulation developmentally emerges from the basis of a further type of affect regulation. Long-Term Educational Sustainability: Educational Innovation in Social Vulnerability Contexts

This paper investigates the behavior of children from low socioeconomic status families and examines the effects of a socioemotional education program on aggression in children. The results of the program are compared according to the children’s gender and age, the family structure, the parents’ educational attainment, and social status. The results show that applying socioemotional education programs reduces children’s aggression and encourages positive development during adolescence. This positive development fosters open, expressive behavior.

Bakalaura darba tēma ir “Sociālo attiecību modeļu reprezentācijas Harija Potera filmās”. Darbā tika apskatītas visas 8 Harija Potera fantāzijas filmas, kurās varoņu savstarpējās attiecības pastāv dažādās formās, lai spētu veikt secinājumus par filmās esošo sociālo attiecību modeļu reprezentācijām kā daļai no populārās kultūras. Darba teorētiskajā daļā tika aplūkota reprezentācija, sociālie attiecību modeļi, populārās kultūras komunikācijas modeļi, kā arī fantāzijas filmu žanrs. Darba metodoloģisko bāzi veido un empīriskajā daļā kā metodes tika izmantotas semiotika, fokusgrupu diskusijas, anketēšana. Hokeja kluba Dinamo Rīga fanu piederības identifikācija

Bakalaura darbā “Hokeja kluba Dinamo Rīga fanu piederības identifikācija” tiek pētītas Dinamo Rīga fanu identifikācijas pazīmes, izpausmes un faktori. Darba teorētisko daļu veido nodaļas par sociālo identitāti, kā arī nodaļas par sporta fanu grupu piederību un to identifikāciju. Empīriskajā daļā ar daļēji strukturētās intervijas palīdzību tiek noskaidrotas galvenās Dinamo Rīga fanu mērķauditorijas, kā arī komunikācijas kanāli, caur kuriem hokeja klubs cenšas tās sasniegt. Elementos de resolución de problemas en primeras edades escolares con Bee-bot

En este trabajo se presenta un estudio exploratorio sobre elementos de resolución de problemas puestos en juego por estudiantes de primeras edades escolares mientras resuelven tareas con el robot programable Bee-bot. En dichos problemas, los estudiantes deben secuenciar las instrucciones necesarias para que el robot recorra un camino desde un punto inicial a otro final. Se pretende observar y caracterizar actuaciones de tres parejas de estudiantes con el fin de determinar recursos heurísticos y procesos de gestión desarrollados durante la resolución de los problemas. Self-regulated learning, self-efficacy beliefs and performance during the late childhood

This article analyzes relations between self-regulated learning, self-efficacy beliefs, and performance in tasks of solving arithmetic problems. The research includes 268 six-year-old students enrolled in the first year of primary school in Spain. The results from binary logistic regression models indicate that self-regulated learning and its interaction with self-efficacy beliefs predict performance.
