Lai gan metaforas pētījumi ir piesaistījuši daudzu zinātnieku uzmanību, metaforu lietojums modes emuāros nav daudz pētīts. Emuārs kā žanrs parādījās 2000.gadu sākumā un kopš tā laika ir izveidojušies dažādi emuāra veidi. Empīriskie dati ir ekscerpēti no modes emuāra The Blonde Salad. Pētījums ir izstrādāts, lai atbildētu uz pētījuma jautājumu - kāda metaforu funkcija dominē emuārā The Blonde Salad. Pētījuma mērķis ir noteikt avota domēnus, kas metaforiski raksturo modi izvēlētajā modes emuārā. This qualitative study investigates customer behavior during the omnichannel customer journey. The study aims to increase the understanding of omnichannel service environments from a customer-centric point of view. The data was collected by interviewing 10 young adults (from 26 to 30 years old) who had bought a Finnish clothing brand (R-Collection) product via a digital or a physical channel. Benford's law has been promoted as providing the auditors with a turnkey solution for fraud detection. The purpose of this paper is to show it is not always possible to detect fraudulent sales with that law. We use sales in volume of game consoles in Japan (since 1989), in United-States, in France, in Germany and in United-Kingdom (since 2000). After reviewing briefly the literature and our study design, the chi-square test and the bias analysis were used to measure the goodness-of-fit to Benford's law. What is meaningful for responsible shoppers in online fashion retail?

This qualitative study investigates what is meaningful for responsible shoppers in online fashion retail. The study aims to identify and describe these essential themes from the customers’ perspective. The data were collected by interviewing nine self-proclaimed responsible shoppers aged 26–51 years. All participants were female. The findings highlight six meaningful themes for responsible shoppers. These include 1) comprehensive and versatile information; 2) familiar brands and retailers; 3) domesticity; 4) pricing; 5) justification of purchase; and 6) the durability of fashion wear.
