This research is a hybrid of a monograph and a multiple-article dissertation. Its theoretical starting point is a phenomenologically based view of the being of the image, in which Georges Didi-Huberman´s work plays a central role. For him, as well as for Mieke Bal, a historical work of art is never only in the distant past only but also exists in the present actuality. This makes the temporality of the Image extremely complex. The Image can be encountered only “pre-posterously” (Bal) or by reading it “against the grain” (Didi-Huberman). The Image is necessarily anachronistic; it is not in time but opens up time. The consumption of the soil due to urbanization it is a phenomena already for many years under observations, but of which only the scientific environment has noticed the elevated environmental impact progress. From a disciplinary point of view, is possible to identify a line of research focusing on the analysis and identification of new morphologies of urbanization and on the interaction among different settlement patterns coexisting in a specific context. Tutkimuksen tarkoituksena oli selvittää kehofenomenologian näkökulmasta tanssinharrastajien kokemuksia eri kulttuureista lähtöisin olevista tanssimuodoista: länsiafrikkalaisista tansseista, itämaisesta tanssista ja flamencosta. Tutkimukseen osallistui 36 tanssinharrastajaa. He olivat iältään 11–70-vuotiaita ja olivat harrastaneet tanssimuotoaan 4–20 vuotta. Tanssinharrastajat kirjoittivat kokemuspäiväkirjaa tanssimisen kokemuksistaan kuudella tanssitunnilla kolmen kuukauden aikana. The aim of this study was to examine and interpret teachers’ experiences of pupils with emotional and behavioural disordres in comprehensive schools in Finland. The term ‘pupils with emotional and behavioural disorders’ refers here to children who either cannot or do not want to act according to the general expectations in a school climate. Children live in several social settings that affect their development, of which the most important ones are home and the school.
