Introduction – Treatments with 1-methylcyclopropene (1-MCP), an inhibitor of ethylene perception, were investigated on white-flesh loquat fruit to extend its shelf life and to prevent chilling injury. Ma- terials and methods – The loquat (Eriobotrya japonica Lindl.) white-flesh fruits (cv. Claudia) were submitted to applications of 1-MCP at 1 °C for 20 h and at concentrations from 1 to 5 μL L . Edible coatings may be used to extend the shelf life of fresh-cut fruit products by controlling respiration and transpiration reducing overall quality decay. In this study, the effects of xanthan gum, combined with calcium ascorbate treatment, on color and nutritional quality of fresh-cut pear fruit were investigated. The influence of pasteurization temperature and time of treatment on the flesh firmness and the evolution of microbial communities was studied for table olives Cv. Nocellara del Belice, packed in glass jars and processed with a tunnel pasteurizer. Pasteurization at industrial scale was carried out within a tunnel pasteurizer applying the treatment at 75 °C for 8 min in the thermal center of the jars. Besides flesh firmness and microbial evolutions, pH, total ti-tratable acidity (TTA) and colour were evaluated for the table olives during storage at 6, 12 and 15 months from packing. In this paper we describe how a novel backoff mechanism called Moderated Backoff (MB), recently proposed as a standard extension for 802.11 networks, has been prototyped and experimentally validated on a commercial 802.11 card before being ratified. Indeed, for performance reasons, the time critical operations of MAC protocols, such as the backoff mechanism, are implemented into the card hardware/firmware and cannot be arbitrarily changed by third parties or by manufacturers only for experimental reasons. Con la sentenza n. 16253/2020 la Suprema Corte ha affermato che l’assenza di nesso causale tra la cessazione di un appalto e il licenziamento del lavoratore integra un’ipotesi di manifesta insussistenza del fatto posto alla base del licenziamento - con conseguente applicabilità della tutela reintegratoria attenuta di cui all’art. 18, comma 5, della legge n. 300/1970 - non riconducibile, pertanto, agli altri casi in cui il giudice dichiara risolto il rapporto concedendo la sola tutela indennitaria forte (da dodici a ventiquattro mensilità).
