Changes in the Association between European Workers’ Employment Conditions and Employee Well-Being in 2005, 2010 and 2015

[EN] The aim of this paper is to study whether there is a change in the association between employment conditions and European employees' well-being at three different time points (the years 2005, 2010 and 2015), characterized by different socio-economic contexts. We based our study on the European Working Conditions Survey. Logistic regressions were performed by adjusting for gender, age, level of education, seniority, occupation, establishment size, activity sector and economic activity. [EN] The digitisation process is affecting all markets and raising consumer awareness about companies' sustainable behaviour. This work studies the effect of the sustainability profile of FinTech companies on the firm (market value and book value) as the factors that add value to investors and motivate their evolution in markets are still unknown. Using the KBW and Nasdaq FinTech Indices, and the NASDAQ Insurance Index (IXIS), we composed a panel of 95 companies over a 10-year period (2010-2019) with economic-financial variables and data about green certificates and sustainability indices. Effect of Chitin Whiskers on the Molecular Dynamics of Carrageenan-Based Nanocomposites

[EN] Films of carrageenan (KC) and glycerol (g) with different contents of chitin nanowhiskers (CHW) were prepared by a solution casting process. The molecular dynamics of pure carrageenan (KC), carrageenan/glycerol (KCg) and KCg with different quantities of CHWs as a filler was studied using dielectric relaxation spectroscopy. The analysis of the CHW effect on the molecular mobility at the glass transition, T-g, indicates that non-attractive intermolecular interactions between KCg and CHW occur. Metal–organic framework (MOF)-driven synthesis is considered as a promising alternative for the development of new catalytic materials with well-designed active sites. This synthetic approach is used here to gradually transform a new bimetallic MOF, with Pd and Fe as the metal components, by the in situ generation of aniline under mild conditions. This methodology results in a compositionally homogeneous nanocomposite formed by Fe-doped Pd nanoparticles that, in turn, are supported on iron oxide-doped carbon. This study examines the relationship between structural and psychological empowerment and its effects on employees’ psychological, physical, and social well-being. [EN] The ability of a territory to manage certain sustainable development processes increasingly depends on its capacity to apply previous diagnostic processes to its current situation. For this reason, methodologies that facilitate the detection of needs and/or potentialities of the territory are key to meeting its anticipated sustainable development goals. We present the most notable results of the research methodology carried out in the province of Valencia (Spain) that has enabled the construction of a matrix of indicators that allow these previous diagnostic processes to be put into practice at a local level, based on the participation of the territory's socioeconomic actors.
