Children with disabilities are especially vulnerable to violence in the school environment, which has a negative impact on their well-being and health. Tämän pro gradu -tutkielman tarkoituksena oli selvittää kavereiden yhteyttä lasten ja nuorten liikunta-aktiivisuuteen ja urheiluseurassa harrastamiseen. Tutkielmassa tarkasteltiin viides-, seitsemäs- ja yhdeksäsluokkalaisten lasten ja nuorten liikuntakäyttäytymistä sekä sitä, millainen yhteys heidän kavereillaan siihen oli. Tutkimus perustui maaliskuussa 2016 kerättyyn valtakunnallisen LIITU-tutkimuksen aineistoon. LIITU-tutkimuksen aineisto kerättiin sähköisellä kyselylomakkeella ja vastaajia oli yhteensä 5586. The purpose of this thesis was to test the applicability of binding communication in the case of car use reduction. The first two studies (1 & 2) bring out the relationship between an individual and his mobility. Our results lead us to consider a system of double bind between the challenges of sustainable development and daily obligations. The individual recognizes the negative impact of car use on the environment but justifies his behavior by an important need for flexibility. Use of peat-based sorbents for removal of arsenic compounds

Abstract It is important to apply sorbent materials for purification of water from arsenic contamination due to serious arsenic pollution worldwide. We have developed new sorbents based on natural materials that provide a cheap and environmentally friendly alternative. For the first time, peat modified with iron compounds and iron humates were tested for sorption of arsenic compounds. The highest sorption capacity was found in peat modified with iron compounds. We have found that sorption of different arsenic speciation forms was strongly dependent on solution pH, reaction time and temperature.
