Among the earliest habitats of the early Middle Ages studied in Franche-Comté, the Pratz le Curtillet a settlement sets itself apart by its location in the Jura highlands, renowned for its remoteness and inhospitable landscapes. On the Lizon plateau, the scope of the archaeological work explored on the 16 hectares and the quality of the remains still constitute an exceptional complex today. An imposing 16m by 13m stone building flanked by an annex forms the residential part of the estate, while sheltering fodder and livestock, while the second building houses a forge. Bakalaura darba „Bibliotēku iekārtojuma atbilstība Bibliotēku likumā noteiktajām prasībām” mērķis ir noskaidrot, vai publisko bibliotēku iekārtojums atbilst Latvijā noteiktiem normatīviem un Bibliotēku likumam. Lai realizētu bakalaura darbā izvirzīto mērķi, tika veikts jaukta tipa pētījums, kurā ir izmantotas kvalitatīvās un kvantitatīvās datu vākšanas metodes - dokumentu analīze, novērošana un daļēji strukturētā intervija. Iegūtie dati tiek analizēti no pragmatisma teorijas viedokļa. Pētījumā iegūtie rezultāti noved pie secinājumiem, ka bibliotēku iekārtojumā ir daļēji ievērotas normatīvajos dokumentos noteiktās prasības.

The Beurdeley dynasty was established in Paris from 1818 to 1895. They were active in the trade of "curiosities" (as antiques were then described) but they also founded a workshop for the manufacture of furniture and gilt bronzes. The study of their business reveals the increasing value devoted to curiosities, the consumption and the circulation of works of art, both antique and modern, the trade and the workshop practices throughout the nineteenth century.
