El artículo analiza los desplazamientos y desposesiones simbólico-materiales de movimientos urbanos posicionados frente a la ciudad neoliberal. A partir de un estudio etnográfico en el barrio del Cabanyal (Valencia), se abordan las políticas urbanas y las movilizaciones vecinales en una gentrificación inacabada. The issues raised by the documentary are discussed with reference to the cinematic culture as well as to the contributions of some of the founding authors of the intellctual debate on gentrification and the city of New York.
