The effect of positive airway pressure treatment on weight and markers of central obesity in patients with obstructive sleep apnea remains unclear. We studied the change in body weight and anthropometric measures following positive airway pressure treatment in a large clinical cohort. Monitoring road pavement performance through a novel data processing approach, accelerated pavement test results

This research presents a novel performance-based interpretation method for continuous monitoring of pavement condition through the use of piezoelectric sensors. The objective of this study is to validate the compressed cumulative loading event approach, implemented in a previously developed piezoelectric sensor, for detecting subsurface fatigue cracking through full-scale accelerated pavement testing. A piezo-electric film of polyvinylidene fluoride is used to harvest the microstrain energy induced by the traffic loading at the surface. Abstract Studies that use multitemporal images require the conversion of original digital data into the corresponding physical magnitudes. Atmospheric correction is one of the most important steps in this process, which is usually undertaken using atmospheric radiative transfer models. In October 2024, European Space Agency’s Hera mission will be launched, targeting the binary asteroid Didymos. Hera will host the Juventas and Milani CubeSats, the first CubeSats to orbit close to a small celestial body performing scientific and technological operations. The primary scientific payload of the Milani CubeSat is the SWIR, NIR, and VIS imaging spectrometer ASPECT. The Milani mission objectives include mapping the global composition and the characterization of the binary asteroid surface. We present a novel mass spectrometry-based high-throughput workflow and an open-source computational and data resource to reproducibly identify and quantify HLA-associated peptides. Collectively, the resources support the generation of HLA allele-specific peptide assay libraries consisting of consensus fragment ion spectra, and the analysis of quantitative digital maps of HLA peptidomes generated from a range of biological sources by SWATH mass spectrometry (MS). Tērpu uzskaites sistēmas prasības un izveides ietvari

Šī darba mērķis ir noskaidrot, vai digitalizēta tērpu uzskaites sistēma tautas deju kolektīviem un koriem ir nepieciešama un kādām īpašībām tai būtu jāpiemīt. Kā arī darbā tiek apskatīts, ar kādām metodēm tiek pētīti, izvēlēti labākie risinājumi šādas sistēmas realizēšanai. Darba ietvaros tika arī izveidots sistēmas lietotnes prototips lietotāja saskarnei ar izvēlētā risinājuma ietvaru Ionic. Darba rezultātā tika secināts, ka šādu sistēmu būtu vērtīgi ieviest, lai atvieglotu deju kolektīva un/vai kora tērpu inventarizācijas procesu.

Maģistra darbā „Strukturētu datu grafu vizualizācija virtuālā realitātē kā rīks lai asistētu noziegumu digitālā izmeklēšanā” tiek apskatīti pētījumi par datu apstrādes metodēm digitālā izmeklēšanā un datu attēlošanas paņēmieniem. Darba mērķis ir, balstoties uz pētījumu analīzi, izstrādāt reālus un funkcionējošus, divus savstarpēji atkarīgus, rīku prototipus, kas veiktu kriminālprocesa laikā izgūto datu apstrādi, izveidojot starp tām saistības, vienā un veiktu skaidru un saprotamu apstrādāto datu attēlošanu otrā.

Ceļu digitālās reklāmas radītā apgaismojuma novērtēšanas metodes analīze

Maģistra darbs ir uzrakstīts latviešu valodā uz 41 lapaspusēm, satur 24 attēlus, 9 tabulas un 34 atsauces uz literatūras avotiem. Darba mērķis bija noteikt teorētisko diskomforta žilbšanu, pielietojot dažādas ceļu reklāmas radītā apgaismojuma novērtēšanas pieejas. Tika veikta 13 digitālo ceļa reklāmu baltās krāsas spožuma mērījumi izmantojot Konica Minolta LS-150 fotometru, un radītā apgaismojuma mērījum baltajai krāsai, izmantojot Konica Minolta T-10 luksometru. Tika noskaidrots, ka G. Krūmiņas izveidotās apgaismojuma novērtēšanas metodes iegūtajiem rezultātiem baltajai krāsai ir cieša korelācija ar standarta spožuma mērījumiem baltajai krāsai ar fotometru, tātad šī metode ir pietiekoši pr…
