This paper presents a further step in the integral documentation of prehistoric rock art, combining 2D and 3D digital recording techniques. Image processing and digital enhancement techniques are an invaluable aid to obtain high quality and accurate 2D recordings, especially when working with faint motifs or complex superimpositions. Copy-move Forgery Detection via Texture Description

Copy-move forgery is one of the most common type of tampering in digital images. Copy-moves are parts of the image that are copied and pasted onto another part of the same image. Detection methods in general use block-matching methods, which first divide the image into overlapping blocks and then extract features from each block, assuming similar blocks will yield similar features. In this paper we present a block-based approach which exploits texture as feature to be extracted from blocks. The objective of this research was to evaluate the modification of canopy architecture of ''Flordastar'' peach (Prunus persica L. Batsch) grafted onto rootstocks with different vigour, by the use of fractal dimension (D). The hypothesis was that different vigour rootstocks are able to modify the complexity of the branching pattern and that this effect can be assessed by a geometric parameter such as the fractal dimension (D) of the 2D projection of tree branching structure. Dopo avere ripercorso le principali fonti documentarie ed iconografiche relative alla tribuna, viene qui presentata l’opera oggi a Madrid, che fornisce un prezioso riscontro alle fonti fin qui note.

International audience; A strategy to apply online weekly homework quizzes as formative assessment for Engineering students was designed and tested in order to study if it increases student's learning. The strategy was to make optional weekly online quizzes not randomly generated that students may retry over and over again until to reach the correct answer, they contribute to 10% of grade but only if students get 45% or more in traditional assessment.The quizzes were applied to two different mathematics courses (Single and Multivariable Calculus) of two different Engineering degrees, each one to around 100 students and during a semester.
