Tutkimuksen tavoitteena oli kuvata bloggaajien käsityksiä bloggaajien ja lukijoiden välisestä vuorovaikutuksesta ja keskinäisestä suhteesta sekä kuvata, millaisia merkityksiä vuorovaikutuksella ja suhteella on bloggaajien omalle toiminnalle. Toiminnaksi määriteltiin blogin ylläpitäminen sekä bloggaajan ja lukijoiden väliseen vuorovaikutukseen osallistuminen. Tutkimus toteutettiin Bonnier Publicationsin julkaiseman Divaani-aikakauslehden Divaaniblogit.fi-blogisivuston bloggaajille laadullisena tapaustutkimuksena. Despite the obvious positive connotations, the world of lifestyle blogging also has a darker side to it.
