Wireless ATM : handover issues

Basic aspects of cellular systems and the ATM transmission technology are introduced. Wireless ATM is presented as a combination of radio ATM and mobile ATM. Radio ATM is a wireless extension of an ATM connection while mobile ATM contains the necessary extensions to ATM to support mobility. Because the current ATM technology does not support mobility, handover becomes one of the most important research issues for wireless ATM. Wireless ATM handover requirements are thus analysed. Il Consiglio di Stato si pronuncia sulla legittimità dell’introduzione, da parte dell’Automobile Club d’Italia (Aci), del certificato di proprietà digitale nelle pratiche di gestione del pubblico registro automobilistico. Innanzitutto, si ritiene che nessuna previsione normativa imponga di conservare il certificato in forma cartacea. La transizione digitale, al contrario, è incentivata da varie disposizioni di legge, anche perché offre maggiore tutela al cittadino. Bakalaura darbs ir uzrakstīts latviešu valodā uz 36 lapaspusēm. Tas satur 12 attēlus, 7 tabulas, 12 pielikumus un 56 atsauces uz literatūras avotiem. Darba mērķis bija novērtēt Rīgā izvietoto ceļu digitālo reklāmu parametrus – spožumu un radīto apgaismojumu. Tika veikti 19 ceļu digitālo reklāmu spožuma mērījumi, izmantojot Konica Minolta LS-150 fotometru, un 3 ceļu digitālo reklāmu radītā apgaismojuma mērījumi, izmantojot Konica Minolta T-10 luksmetru. Tika noskaidrots, ka digitālo reklāmu uzstādītās spožuma vērtības ir ļoti atšķirīgas un pārsniedz citu valstu atļautās spožuma normas. In fruheren Versuchen an isolierten subcellularen Strukturen des Hundeherzens war eine Freisetzung von gebundenem Ca durch Herzglykoside beschrieben worden [3–5]. Da das cellular gebundene Ca vorwiegend in einer Bindung an die Lipoidkomponente der Membranstrukturen vorzuliegen scheint [1], wurde gepruft, ob Digitalis die Ca-Bindung an Lipoide zu beeinflussen vermag. Aus Meerschweinchenherzen wurden Mito-chondrien und Mikrosomen isoliert, die Lipoide extrahiert [2] und anschliesend nach der Methode von Nayler[6] die Aufnahme von Ca in diese Extrakte bei Aquilibrierung mit 45Ca-haltiger Tyrodelosung (1, 8 mM [Ca]) bestimmt. Reversible Digital And Holographic Optical Storafe In Polymeric Liquid Crystals (PLC)

A new reversible optical storage technique based on azo dye containing liquid crystalline polymers and copolymers is described. Monodomain films of the polymers were used as storage medium. Digital and holographic information was stored and reconstructed. The stored information can be erased and the writing process is repeatable. The storage process is explained in terms of a transcis isomerization of the mesogen inducing local director field distortions.

Tailoring the anionic function and the side chains of comb-like superplasticizers to improve their adsorption

Nowadays admixtures and especially superplasticizers are unavoidable components of the concrete formulation. The high fluidizing efficiency of the comb-like superplasticizers must not overshadow their high costs. Influence of culture conditions on embryo formation and maturation in auxin-induced embryogenic cultures of Digitalis obscura.

Somatic embryogenesis was induced in hypocotyls of Digitalis obscura using indoleacetic acid or 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid with different culture and subculture conditions. Indoleacetic acid-induced embryogenic cultures were used to investigate the effects of amino acids, polyamines and growth regulators on embryo differentiation and maturation. Supplementation of the media with amino acids, polyamines or abscisic acid did not influence or had an adverse effect on embryogenic response. Gibberellic acid at 1.4 μM in either culture (30 days) or subculture medium was effective in promoting both differentiation and normal embryo development. Relationships among soil characteristics, plant macronutrients, and cardenolide accumulation in natural populations of Digitalis obscura

In the present study, we have investigated relationships among several soil parameters (pH, organic matter, total carbonate, macronutrients, electrical conductivity, cation-exchange capacity) and macronutrient and cardenolide contents in leaves of wild Digitalis obscura plants. Young and mature leaves and soil samples were collected in ten different areas, corresponding to three Mediterranean bioclimatic belts (thermo-, meso-, and supramediterranean belts).
