How critical thinking should be at the heart of digital interactions?

In this paper, we explore how to teach critical thinking in the digital age, in order to promote the autonomy of practitioners. An interaction theory is proposed to identify the constraints that structure digital creativity. This model helps to design a critical pedagogy, linking without opposing a procedural approach to a reflective approach. The article presents an implementation of this model in a writing course on a social network. The study of students' activity logs shows the presence of forms of objectivity and reflexivity, reflecting the development of critical thinking. Data play an increasingly important role in today’s service ecosystems, where actors integrate resources to create value at different levels of aggregation (micro, meso, macro). To advance our understanding of the role of data in such contemporary data-rich service ecosystems, we draw on the service-dominant (S-D) logic and data ecosystem literature. Extending the current understanding of data in the literature, we demonstrate how data and data ecosystems have become intertwined with service ecosystems and how data as a meta-resource connects actors, enhances systemic visibility, and drives innovation in these ecosystems. peerReviewed

Consumer Information Services in Intercultural Tourism : An Ethnographic Study of Chinese Outbound Backpackers

This paper reports the findings of an ethnographic study of Chinese outbound backpackers’ use and adoption of consumer information services (CIS) in an intercultural tourism setting. We apply McKenna et al.’s research model of consumers’ adoption of information services as the analytical lens for the interpretive qualitative study. The data gathering was conducted in four different countries. The findings of the study confirm linkages between four information service types and the use and adoption of CIS. La protección del consumidor en la contratación digital

Las normas de protección del consumidor deben extenderse a la contratación digital. La Directiva 2019/770, del Parlamento y del Consejo, de 20 de mayo de 2019, relativa a determinados aspectos de los contratos de suministro de contenidos y servicios digitales trata de garantizar un alto nivel de protección al consumidor a través de los deberes de información, el derecho de desistimiento y determinados remedios jurídicos para los casos de falta de conformidad de los contenidos digitales con el contrato. La propia Directiva prevé como contraprestación por los contenidos digitales la entrega de datos personales, sin embargo esta regulación tiene que armonizarse con la protección de datos.
