Etenkin nuorten ikäryhmien mielenterveyden häiriöt ovat yleistyneet nopeasti viimeisten kymmenen vuoden aikana. Väestön fyysinen terveys on monilla mittareilla katsottuna aikaisempaa parempi, mutta ikärakenteen muuttuessa hoitoa tarvitsevien kokonaismäärä kasvaa. Mielenterveyspalveluihin tarvitaan lisää resursseja samalla kun työvoiman määrä vähenee. Tässä artikkelissa tarkastellaan informaatioteknologian ja tekoälyn mahdollisuuksia ennaltaehkäisevien mielenterveyspalveluiden kehittämisessä. Laulunopiskelu vaatii useiden eri lihasten kontrolloinnin opettelemista. Koska suuri osa näistä lihaksista ei ole tahdonalaisia, käytetään niiden harjoittamisessa erilaisia mielikuvia. Tämän lisäksi mielikuvien käyttäminen laulunopetuksessa on perusteltua, sillä laulaja ei voi nähdä ääni-instrumenttiaan. Mielikuvien avulla laulaja oppii hahmottamaan ja aistimaan kehoaan paremmin ja niillä voi vaikuttaa huomattavasti jopa kokonaisen kuoron sointiin. Jotta pystymme ymmärtämään, mitä mielikuvien kautta halutaan saavuttaa, täytyy ensin tietää, miten ääni-instrumentti toimii. Tässä tutkimuksessa tarkasteltiin sitä, millaisena henkilökohtaisia blogeja ylläpitävät terveys- ja hyvinvointibloggaajat näkevät terveysviestinnän kentän ja omat positionsa siellä. Lisäksi selvi-tettiin, millaisena kanavana nämä bloggaajat kokevat blogit terveysviestinnässä. Tutkimuksessa haastateltiin kahdeksaa Blogilista.fi-sivuston perusteella Suomen luetuimpaa terveys- ja hyvinvointibloggaajaa. Digiosallisuus Suomessa -hankkeessa laadittiin aluksi digiosallisuuden käsiteanalyysi eri tieteen- ja hallinnonalojen näkökulmasta. Käsiteanalyysi ja sen pohjalta muodostettu digiosallisuuden määritelmä osa-alueineen on julkaistu erillisenä väliraporttina (Hänninen ym. 2021b). Siinä tunnistettiin digiosallisuuden kuusi osa-aluetta: infrastruktuuri ja teknologiset välineet; saavutettavuus; turvallisuus ja luotettavuus; taidot, osaaminen ja digituki; käytettävyys; käyttäminen ja hyödyt.
