Novadpētniecības krājuma digitalizācija Latvijas bibliotēkās

Novadpētniecība dod iespēju uzzināt vairāk par sev tuvajiem un vietu, no kurienes esam nākuši. Arvien biežāk sabiedrībā tiek norādīts uz digitālās vides vērtību un nozīmīgumu, līdz ar to bibliotēkām būtu jāpielāgojas, lai lietotājiem varētu piedāvāt vajadzīgo. Ir jāuzlabo bibliotēku novadpētniecības krājuma pieejamība attālināti. Pētījumā veiktās intervijas un kontentanalīze palīdz uzzinātu par veikto novadpētniecības krājuma digitalizācijas darbu bibliotēkās un kā varētu uzlabot digitalizācijas darbu. Pētījuma mērķis ir apskatīt un novērtēt digitalizācijas darbu bibliotēkās un izveidot bibliotēku novadpētniecības krājuma digitalizācijas modeli.

Architecture of a digital PFM controller for IC implementation

This paper presents a digital controller architecture oriented to IC implementation. The classical digital pulse width modulator (D-PWM), using digital analog converter (DAC), is replaced with a Sigma-Delta (/spl Sigma//spl Delta/) modulator based on pulse frequency modulator (PFM) technique. Results of an investigation from a prototype for DC-DC converter, in terms of simulated and experimental performances, are reported, together with harmonic frequency investigation. Purpose: This study aims to examine the causal nature of the suggested correlations between stressors and performance in accounting and auditing firms.Design: A longitudinal study of the relationships between role stressors and performance of 71 chartered public accountants and trainee-chartered accountants surveyed before and after the fiscal period has been conducted using the partial least squares approach.Findings: The variation of stress arousal is positively associated with the variations of role conflict and overload, but not with the variations of role ambiguity and stress arousal. Quantitative colorimetric analysis of some inorganic salts using digital photography

An analytical imaging approach to the quantitation of dissolved chemical species absorbed in the visible spectral region is reported. The approach uses digital images of a series of standard solutions of the target substance and their processing with appropriate software to assign a numeric value to each standard in terms of color intensity. Such a value is directly proportional to the analyte concentration and allows the construction of a calibration graph. The IceCube prototype string in Amanda

The Antarctic Muon And Neutrino Detector Array (Amanda) is a high-energy neutrino telescope. It is a lattice of optical modules (OM) installed in the clear ice below the South Pole Station. Each OM contains a photomultiplier tube (PMT) that detects photons of Cherenkov light generated in the ice by muons and electrons. IceCube is a cubic-kilometer-sized expansion of Amanda currently being built at the South Pole. In IceCube the PMT signals are digitized already in the optical modules and transmitted to the surface. Drawing from cognitive dissonance and neutralization theories, this study seeks to improve the understanding on consumer decision-making between the current legal and illegal video consumption alternatives. We develop and test a research model featuring Subscription Video on Demand (SVOD) satisfaction and various dimensions of SVOD quality as antecedents of video piracy neutralizations and attitudes. Based on results from an online survey among Finnish SVOD users, SVOD satisfaction is primarily determined by content quality, and has a small negative effect on attitude toward piracy through decreased piracy neutralization. Background: Although anthrax is a rare zoonotic infection, it still causes significant mortality and morbidity. In this multicenter study, which is the largest anthrax case series ever reported, we aimed to describe the factors leading to dissemination of cutaneous anthrax.Methods: Adult patients with cutaneous anthrax from 16 referral centers were pooled. The study had a retrospective design, and included patients treated between January 1, 1990 and December 1, 2019. Probable, and confirmed cases based upon CDC anthrax 2018 case definition were included in the study.
