Effect of Er3+-doping on 65GeS2-25Ga2S3-10CsCl glass probed by annihilating positrons

Abstract Effect of Er3+-doping resulting in pronounced mid-IR fluorescence functionality was examined first in chalcohalide 65GeS2-25Ga2S3-10CsCl glass using positron annihilation lifetime (PAL) spectroscopy. The detected PAL spectra were reconstructed from unconstrained x2-term analysis employing two-state simple trapping model for one kind of positron trapping free-volume defects, the parameterization being performed at the example of 65GeS2-25Ga2S3-10CsCl glass doped with 0.6 at. % of Er3+. The observed decrease in positron trapping rate was proved to be primary void-evolution process in this Er-activated glass, like in many other chalcogenide glasses affected by rare earth doping. Volatile compounds produced by adults of Anchomenus dorsalis under undisturbed and disturbed conditions were investigated with an all-glass aeration apparatus. GC-MS analysis of the crude extracts from undisturbed and disturbed adults highlighted four major volatile compounds, undecane, heneicosane, Z-9 tricosene and tricosane, of which significantly more undecane was released by disturbed adults compared to undisturbed beetles. A glassblock integrated with hybrid photovoltaic cells (also known as Dye-sensitized Solar Cell - DSC) and a dry-assembled panel made of traditional or DSC-integrated glassblocks are disclosed. The final complete product owns the qualities of both the components (glassblock and DSC module) that are optimized to produce clean energy. Sin embargo, la dimensión formal y material de la Teoría son inseparables. Ferrajoli opta por un concepto meramente teórico y formal de los derechos que olvida su inevitable dimensión axiológica. Conspicuous cyclic changes in population density characterize many populations of small northern rodents. The extreme crashes in individual number are expected to reduce the amount of genetic variation within a population during the crash phases of the population cycle. By long-term monitoring of a bank vole (Myodes glareolus) population, we show that despite the substantial and repetitive crashes in the population size, high heterozygosity is maintained throughout the population cycle.
