Abstract: Purpose: To evaluate the ergonomics and efficacy of five instruments used in dentistry for scaling and root planing. Methods: This experimental study with a comparative cross-sectional design was carried out during a simulated scaling and root planing task. Seven female dentists and one dental hygienist aged 26–58 years participated. Five instruments were evaluated in a subjective analysis of usability and musculoskeletal strain and with measurements of muscular activity, postures of the upper limbs, and work productivity. Se abordan aquí tres aspectos relativos a la Ley española de eutanasia, promulgada el 24 de marzo de 2021, que resultan especialmente problemáticos: la falsa configuración de la eutanasia como un ?derecho subjetivo?, el falso protagonismo de la autonomía del sujeto y la calificación de la eutanasia como ?muerte natural?. Se sostiene la tesis de que la ley solo ha despenalizado el delito eutanásico cuando se realiza de acuerdo con los requisitos legales; de que no existe un derecho a la muerte y por tanto no es la voluntad del solicitante la que determina la prestación eutanásica y las repercusiones que se producirán en diversos ámbitos por la calificación de muerte natural.

Regional variations in occupancy frequency distributions patterns between odonate assemblages in Fennoscandia

Odonate (damselfly and dragonfly) species richness and species occupancy frequency distributions (SOFD) were analysed in relation to geographical location in standing waters (lakes and ponds) in Fennoscandia, from southern Sweden to central Finland. In total, 46 dragonfly and damselfly species were recorded from 292 waterbodies. Species richness decreased to the north and increased with waterbody area in central Finland, but not in southern Finland or in Sweden. Species occupancy ranged from 1 up to 209 lakes and ponds. In this brief study we will carefully analyze the uses of arribar and aplegar in mediaeval language from Curial e Güelfa. Our goal is to discover when and up to which extent both verbs, arribar and aplegar, share their meaning during the first half of the 15th century, in order to shed light on the current situation of Valencian.
