Defining shapes by iteration allows us to generate new structures with specific properties (roughness,lacunarity), which cannot be achieved with classic modelling.For developing an iterative modeller to design fractals described by a BCIFS, we developed a set oftools and algorithms that permits one to evaluate, to characterize and to analyse different geometricproperties (localisation, convex hull, volume, fractal dimension) of fractals. El artículo presenta un estudio de caso de una política juvenil realizada en la última década en una región del Sur de Italia. Su interés reside en la versatilidad, el enfoque multidimensional y en el hecho de haber actuado como un óptimo instrumento de desarrollo local. El estudio de caso se ha realizado a través del análisis documental de las evaluaciones ex -ante, durante y ex – post que se hicieron para valorar el impacto de la política. La reflexión que el caso propone se enfoca en cómo se puede promover eficazmente el desarrollo local a través de políticas más trasversales.

This paper contains an overview of the equipment currently available in the Norwegian Motion Laboratory, a description of the IT networking infrastructure in the laboratory, a GitHub link to open source code developed, description of the PyQt-based graphical user interface, presentation of robot forward and inverse kinematics, presentation of equations of motion for the suspended load motion and a description of the full system kinematics. The paper ends with a list of research experiments and publications from the laboratory to date.

Cluny: de la gestion de données à la réalité augmentée

Cluny III was the greatest abbey of the Christendom until the construction of Saint-Peters of Roma in the 17th century. Unfortunately, the Order of Cluny was broke up with the French revolution, and the church became a stone pit carry. Until 2010, for the commemoration of the Cluny foundation, a great restoration yard has begun. It is composed of two parts: Hézelon which is the restoration and development program for the patrimony of Cluny; and Gunzo, which is a research assembly on new image technologies, for knowledge and valorisation of the site. To facilitate the comprehension of this patrimony, and to allow the public to access its past, augmented reality features had been developed.

Multiverse Ethnography: A Qualitative Method for Gaming and Technology Use Research

This article introduces multiverse ethnography as a systematic team-based qualitative method for studying the mechanical, structural and experiential properties of video games and other technological artefacts. Instead of applying the ethnographic method to produce a single in-depth account, multiverse ethnography includes multiple researchers carrying out coordinated synergetic ethnographic work on the same research object, thus producing a multiverse of interpretations and perspectives. The paper introduces the splendid representations of Emperor Constantine the Great and Saint Helena in Jan Kuben’s frescos in the church under invocation of the Triumph of the Cross in Brzeg. They testify strongly of the incessant presence of the creative reflection over the Christian ancient times in the area of Opole Silesia in the period of the Catholic reform in the 18th century. Kuben’s trompe-l’oeil constitutes a wonderful combination of deeply experienced Catholic spirituality with the genius of the artist – a visionary.

International audience; The general objective of our work is to create a geometric modeller based on iterative processes. With this objective in mind, we have to provide tools that work with fractal objects in the same manner as with objects of classical topology. In this article we focus on the constructing of an intermediate curve between two other curves defined by different iterative construction processes.
