Enfance, logiques de la filiation et de la transmission dans l’œuvre de Rachid O.

L’enfance apparaît chez Rachid O. comme une période à laquelle il accorde une grande attention dans son œuvre romanesque, mais aussi comme le pivot autour duquel tournent le questionnement sur son identité homosexuelle, ses rapports familiaux et son écriture. Cet article interroge la représentation de l’enfance et sa panoplie de constructions imaginaires, mais aussi les structures symboliques de la filiation et de la transmission, là où elles dévoilent le réel de l’écrivain et montrent l’enjeu de la jouissance.

Tämän tutkimuksen tavoite oli selvittää Guggenheim Helsinki -hankkeen (G) diskurssien arvoja (arvomaailmaa), asenteita, uskomuksia, olettamuksia, valtaa, ideologioita, myyttejä ja metaforia. Tutkimuskysymyksenä oli se, miten asiantuntijat argumentoivat ja mitä arvoja, ideologioita ja myyttejä argumenttien taustalla on ja miten ne diskursseissa esiintyvät sekä mitä sanotaan ja mitä jätetään sanomatta. Tutkimusongelmaan liittyi kysymys hankkeen tavoitetilasta ja miten se on konstruoitu. Lisäksi tutkimuksessa selvitettiin, voivatko samat arvot ilmetä hankkeen toisilleen vastakkaisissa tavoitteissa. Struggles for moral value and the reproduction of gendered and racialised hierarchies in online discussions of violence

The article examines online discussions in Finland that focus on violence committed by Finnish women, on one hand, and non-white migrant men, on the other. Drawing on the perspective of sociology of value, the article illustrates how these discussions function as sites of struggles over moral worth in a contemporary context characterised by crises of both male and white hegemony. The authors suggest that, through the discussions, these current crises are projected on migrant men and certain groups of women, who thereby become construed as morally reprehensible. Tämä pro gradu -tutkielma etsii vastausta kysymykseen suomalaisen maahanmuuttovastaisen ajattelun äärioikeistolaisuudesta. 2000-luvulla maahanmuuttovastaisuus on noussut tärkeäksi teemaksi suomalaisessa politiikassa, ja tämänkaltaisilla mielipiteillä on saavutettu poliittista menestystä. Assessing violence in the family : social work, courts, and discourses

This article investigates social work, decision-making, and gendered violence in the family in Finland. Discourses on gendered violence in the family are compared in custody disputes, handled in district courts, and out-of-home placements, dealt with in administrative courts. Both data sets altogether include 237 cases. Proceedings in both courts share a legislative emphasis on the ‘child’s best interest’ principle, and both contexts also rely on documentation provided by social workers. Maģistra darbā tiek pētīta pēdējo desmit gadu (2008–2018) publicētā vīriešu autoru dzeja, ko sarakstījuši autori vecumā no 30–40 gadiem (1979.–1988. gada paaudze), ar nolūku izpētīt to, kādos veidos tiek atainota maskulinitāte šajā mākslas formā, kā šie atainojumi atšķiras gan viena autora daiļrades ietvaros, gan arī starp dažādu autoru darbiem un kā maskulinitātes atveide ir attīstījusies šajā laika ietvarā. Critical development studies is introduced as a field of study, which provides tools to uncover hidden power dynamics and ecologically destructive patterns in contemporary development.
