The aim of this paper was to analyze how cultural identification, perceived discrimination and the sense of community are related to life satisfaction among foreign partners in intercultural families. The study compared 105 and 95 foreign partners in mixed families resident in Italy and Spain, respectively. The phenomenon in both countries displays similar sociodemographic aspects. Mutispectral imaging systems are widely used in remote sensing for Precision Viticulture. In this work, this technique was applied in the proximal sensing context to characterize vine foliage. A mobile terrestrial experimental system is presented, composed of a GPS receiver, a multi-spectral camera acquiring visible and near infrared images, and a Greenseeker RT-100 which measures the Normalized Difference Vegetative Index (NDVI). This optical system observes vine foliage in the trellis plan, in natural sunlight. The experimental field is planted with Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Meunier cultivars in a latin squared pattern. DeutschIn dieser an Korpuslinguistik, Formelsprache und Studien uber eingeschrankte Kommunikation grenzende Forschungsstudie, die sich hier auf Ubersetzung, Dolmetschen und L2 konzentriert, wollen wir uberprufen, ob die in der polnisch-englischen Komponente eines intermodalen EPTIC-Korpus gefundenen eingeschrankten Texte sich von den einheimischen Texten unterscheiden in Bezug auf die Verwendung benachbarter Wortkombinationen, oft Bigrams genannt, und ob ahnliche Muster in gesprochenen und geschriebenen Registern gefunden werden konnen. Augājs kā pilsētvides indikators Daugavpilī

Šajā promocijas darbā ir apkopoti 2006.-2013. gadā veikto pētījumu rezultāti, kuros ir analizēta vides pārveidotības pakāpe Daugavpilī. Pētījumā tiek izmantotas trīs dažādu indikatoru grupas – neofītās vaskulārās augu sugas, epifītie ķērpji un priežu miza. Neofītās augu sugas inventarizētas visos 344 pilsētas kvadrātos, lihenoindikācijas dati iegūti no 82 kvadrātiem, metālu saturs priežu mizās noteikts 50 paraugvietās. Iegūtie rezultāti liecina, ka augstākās Daugavpilī pētīto ķīmisko elementu koncentrācijas priežu mizā konstatētas industriālo objektu tuvumā, lihenoindikācijas zemākie rādītāji saistāmi ar pilsētas centrālo daļu, ko raksturo blīvs ceļu tīkls un intensīva satiksme, kā arī priv…
