The paper intends to illustrate some research conducted in the framework of a memorandum of understanding signed in 2019 between the Department of Architecture of the University of Palermo and Montalbano Elicona, an old village of about 2100 inhabitants that rises 900 meters above sea level, in the northern part of the province of Messina. Due to the central position in the Mediterranean, since very remote times Sicily has played a role of crossroads for populations of different cultures. Murevskim piešķirts Goda radista (1955) un Latvijas PSR Nopelniem bagātā zinātnes un tehnikas darbinieka goda nosaukums (1964).

The research aims at collecting information on the state of preservation of the cultural heritage in Palermo, and deals more precisely with Vittorio Emanuele avenue, itself bounded by two city gates called Porta Felice (northern gate facing the Mediterranean sea) and Porta Nuova (southern gate) that both give access to the historic centre of the city. This paper reviews the efforts of the municipality of Zaragoza to promote an innovative heritage education project. This project adds value to the archaeological ruins discovered a few years ago (Teatro Romano, Public Baths) and other urban spaces musealized (Forum Museum, Museo del Puerto Fluvial). Heritage education is based on a city tour that culminates in the splendid Museo Pablo Gargallo. In this proposal we are interested in the part relating to education in museums. Discovery of a novel state of the Jean Mignon signed etching of "Alexander gifting gold to the priests of Ammon".

There are only two known prints signed by Jean Mignon, a decorative cartouche ("Io. MIGon. 1544") and "Alexander gifting gold to the priests of Ammon" ("Io. MIGon."). Until now, the latter was known only in one state and three proofs kept at the British Musem, the Arsenal Library and the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris. In 2016 the Dole city library purchased an album of prints that contained a different state of this engravong. A close examination further shows that the British Museum proof is actually from the same state as this Dole Library print.
