Gli autori riferiscono sui tipi e sui modelli di genesi dei carbonati dei suoli, attraverso l’uso degli isotopi del 13C. Lo studio è stato condotto in un’area dell’interno collinare argilloso siciliano, su suoli che evolvono sui depositi evaporitici della Serie Gessoso-Solfifera. Sono stati scelti cinque pedon su litotipi calcarei e non. I pedon sono stati descritti in campo e campionati secondo la sequenza degli orizzonti genetici; sui campioni di suolo sono state eseguite le seguenti analisi: tessitura, reazione, conducibilità elettrica, gesso, carbonio organico ed inorganico. Les sites fortifiés protohistoriques du Haut-Beaujolais : bilan de trois années de recherches entre Loire et Saône

Dans le cadre du PCR dirigé par F. Delrieu, un programme de prospection des sites fortifiés de hauteur a été engagé entre 2013 et 2015 dans le Haut-Beaujolais, territoire auparavant méconnu dans ce domaine. Ces recherches ont permis la découverte de 19 sites inédits, portant à 22 le corpus local. Sur l’espace investis, de près de 1000 km², 344 sommets ont été vérifiés, selon une approche voulue systématique. Le corpus est essentiellement constitué d’enceintes complètes ou partielles, dont la superficie varie de quelques milliers de m² à près de 3 ha pour le site le plus étendu. The Bronze Age site of ķivutkalns with its massive amount of archaeological artifacts and human remains is considered the largest bronze-working center in Latvia. The site is a unique combination of cemetery and hillfort believed to be built on top of each other. This work presents new radiocarbon dates on human and animal bone collagen that somewhat challenge this interpretation. Based on analyses using a Bayesian modeling framework, the present data suggest overlapping calendar year distributions for the contexts within the 1st millennium BC.
