A critical analysis of a thermal inertia approach to map surface soil water content on bare and sparsely vegetated soils by means of remotely sensed data is reported. The study area is an experimental field located in Barrax, Spain. In situ data were acquired within the Barrax 2011 research project. An advanced hyperspectral scanner airborne imager provides images in the visible/near-infrared and thermal infrared bands. Progress in advanced radiative transfer models (RTMs) led to an improved understanding of reflectance (R) and sun-induced chlorophyll fluorescence (SIF) emission throughout the leaf and canopy. Among advanced canopy RTMs that have been recently modified to deliver SIF spectral outputs are the energy balance model SCOPE and the 3D models DART and FLIGHT. The downside of these RTMs is that they are computationally expensive, which makes them impractical in routine processing, such as scene generation and retrieval applications. Charge radius changes of even-even neutron-rich Tellurium isotopes

Laser spectroscopy based on resonant ionization of laser-desorbed atoms has been used to study the neutron-rich tellurium isotopes with the COMPLIS facility at ISOLDE-CERN. The isotope shift and the hyperfine structure of several neutron-rich Te isotopes: $^{120–136}$Te and $^{123m–133m}$Te have been measured. From the hyperfine structure and the isotope shift we can extract the magnetic and quadrupole moments and the change in the mean square charge radius respectively. The mean square charge radii of the even-even isotopes have been deduced and their comparison with the known data for the other elements near Z=50 is presented. Los autores presentan un caso de leucoplasia verrugosa proliferativa (LVP) en varón de 78 años de edad. Fue inicialmente presentado como un caso de leucoplasia en lengua pero un estudio microscópico en 1991 reveló la presencia de displasia epitelial leve. Tras 5 años de seguimiento, la lesión sufrió cambios de tamaño y localización y tuvo comportamiento recidivante. En 1996, un área eritematosa granular e indurada que apareció en lengua resultó ser un carcinoma de células escamosas microinvasivo cuando se estudió microscópicamente.
