En este artículo el autor propone un modelo de procesamiento cognitivo para construir tests capaces de estimar la Inteligencia Académica (I.A.), entendiendo ésta como la capacidad de adquirir y utilizar eficazmente los conocimientos y destrezas aprendidas en el contexto adecuado. Este modelo permite agrupar los comportamientos seleccionados en cuatro clases de contenidos: semánticos, matemáticos, estructurales y conductuales y en cinco tipos de procesos mentales: conocimientos, destrezas, razonamientos, flexibilidad mental y capacidad de ponderación. Do the Mega and Titan Tests Yield Accurate Results? An Investigation into Two Experimental Intelligence Tests

The Mega and Titan Tests were designed by Ronald K. Hoeflin to make fine distinctions in the intellectual stratosphere. The Mega Test purported to measure above-average adult IQ up to and including scores with a rarity of one in a million of the general population. The Titan Test was billed as being even more difficult than the Mega Test. In this article, these claims are subjected to scrutiny. Both tests are renormed using the normal curve of distribution. It is found that the Mega Test has a higher ceiling and a lower floor than the Titan Test. While the Mega Test may thus seem preferable as a psychometric instrument, it is somewhat marred by a number of easy items in its verbal section. …

This exploratory study focuses on Finnish enterprises and examines how and why they are applying business intelligence today. Especially the process from data into knowledge and how business intelligence is utilized in decision making have been studied. We observed that BI tools improve the speed and quality of decision making and BI tools were coupled with actual decision making. Despite the promising results of prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA)-targeted radioligand therapy (RLT) in metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC), some patients show worsening disease during PSMA-RLT. We investigated the value of combined [18F]FDG and [68Ga]Ga-PSMA-11 PET imaging in this setting.
