Bakalaura darba tēma ir “Literārie darbi vecākā pirmsskolas vecuma bērna tikumisko vērtību izpratnes veidošanai”. Bakalaura darba mērķis – pētīt vecākā pirmsskolas vecuma bērnu tikumisko vērtību izpratnes veidošanos literāro darbu iepazīšanas procesā. Bakalaura darbam ir divas daļas – teorētiskā un empīriskā. Time and History in the Letters of Martin Heidegger to Hannah Arendt

According to Heidegger's philosophy, the essence of time is not chronological; for this reason, history is not a linear succession of facts but is opened up by an event: that is what Heidegger's philosophy reveals at first glance and it's also what we can't consider suspect today. But is less obvious that the "base" from which time and history will disclose themselves is the phenomenon of love: love stands out in the letters of Heidegger to Hannah Arendt as a most excellent way of temporalising time, and it allows the philosophy of finitude to be reconciled with the eternity.

Effects of planting dates on strawberry plug plant performances in Sicily

Sicilian strawberry production plays an important role in European strawberry industry, due to early production (February to April) and high market value. In Sicily planting takes place from August to October, depending on cultivation method and cultivar. Plug plants (tip plants) and fresh-dug plants from high elevation nurseries are the preferred plant materials due to early fruiting potential. However, optimal planting dates must be determined for the various commercial strawberry varieties in order to maximize fruit production. The framework of embodied cognition has challenged the modular view of a language-cognition divide by suggesting that meaning-retrieval critically involves the sensory-motor system. Despite extensive research into the neural mechanisms underlying language-motor coupling, it remains unclear how the motor system might be differentially engaged by different levels of linguistic abstraction and language proficiency. From conceptualization to constructions in Finnish as an L2 : a case study

AbstractThis study traces the individual learning trajectories of an adult beginner L2 Finnish learner in expressing the extralinguistic concept of evaluation from a dynamic usage-based perspective. Our results provide support for the view of learner language as a dynamic system in which patterns wax and wane and in which a change in one component has the potential to affect the whole system. In the early stages of learning there was a strong preference to use lexical verbs first, and then adjectives. The study also shows that variability plays a role. This paper sets out to chart underlying assumptions and fundamental axioms of an integrative research edifice for studying language and how it is developed over time as a human- and culture-centered and multifaceted phenomenon.
