While the diverse effects and uses of music and sound have been extensively documented within music psychology, relatively little attention has been paid to the process and experience of listening itself. Images have always been an important part of city planning – current images of place, images with planned improvements, maps and sketches. Some time ago all that was a private property of stakeholders like planner and client. But nowadays this confidentiality rather much has vanished – no copyrights or competition is noteworthy. Plans do not have their privacy anymore. They are exposed even before they got implemented. W niniejszym artykule poszukuję odpowiedzi na pytanie: Jakie są sensy i znaczenia metafor we Wrocławskiej Szkole Przyszłości (WSP)? Ukazuję zastosowanie języka metaforycznego w szkole, gdzie metaforę traktuje się jako źródło wiedzy o otaczającym świecie, jako swoiste wspomaganie efektywniejszej komunikacji oraz jako stymulator wyobraźni. We WSP uważa się, że dziecko nie musi być skazane na edukację opartą na stereotypowych zachowaniach. Uważa się tam, że w procesie edukacji potrzebne jest myślenie kreatywne, oparte na rozmaitych skojarzeniach, w których wykorzystywana jest umiejętność tworzenia mapy myśli, wyobraźni, czyli tzw. edukacja z wyobraźnią.
