We thank Aydin & cols. for their comments about our recently published paper “Red blood cell distribution width is not related with inflammatory parameters in morbidly obese patients” in Clinical Biochemistry Journal [1]. The authors show their concern about the clinical interpretation of our findings since we did not report folate and B12 vitamin levels. Moreover, they state that we should demonstrate the elimination of thrombocytopenic diseases by showing platelet count data. Aswe state in the paper, exclusion criteria for obese patients included “organic, malignant, hematological, infectious or inflammatory disease”. This thesis is dedicated to the measurements and applications of this effect. The degree of alignment is determined through the variation of the refractive index induced by the rearrangement of the molecular dipoles. A two-dimensional technique allowing to measure molecular alignment on a single-shot basis is reported in this document. National audience; Cette étude propose d’estimer précocement par imagerie deux variables clés dans la gestion des cultures et dans la compétition culture-adventices : l’indice foliaire (LAI) et la biomasse aérienne sèche (BM). Une expérimentation a été conduite au champ pendant la phase végétative d’une culture de blé. Pour chaque peuplement (culture de blé, adventices), les taux de couverture du sol par la végétation (TCc, TCw) ont été déduits du traitement d’image basé sur une technique de machine learning.
