Wind Turbine Mechanical Characteristics and Grid Parameters Influence on the Transient Voltage Stability of a Fixed Speed Wind Turbine

This paper describes the effect of wind turbine mechanical characteristic of construction and grid parameters on the transient voltage stability of a fixed speed wind turbine (FSWT) connected to a simple grid. The model of FSWT has been developed in Matlab/Simulink. Using this model, a three-phase fault is applied close to the wind turbine (WT) and cleared by disconnecting the faulted line. The effects of mechanical construction of WT and of grid parameters on the voltage stability of this simple case are evaluated and discussed. This paper describes the effect of electrical parameters of the induction generator on the transient voltage stability of a fixed speed wind turbine connected to a simple grid; the dynamic behavior of a wind turbine connected to the grid is examined. Parameter identification of induction motor model by means of State Space-Vector Model Output Error Minimization

This paper proposes a technique for the off-line estimation of the electrical parameters of the equivalent circuit of an Induction Machines (IM), and focuses on the application of an algorithm based on the minimization of a suitable cost function involving the differences between the measured stator current direct (sD) and quadrature (sQ) components and the corresponding estimated by the IM state model. Ligninolytic potential of Curvularia kusanoi L7 laccases for animal production

The present research was conducted with the objective of evaluating the ligninolytic potential of Curvularia kusanoi L7 laccases in improving the nutritional quality of fibrous substrates for animal feed. Laccase production was obtained from C. kusanoi L7 under native conditions by solid submerged fermentation of wheat bran and by biological interactions with Trichoderma viride M5-2 and Trichoderma pleuroticola. Replication of HSV-1 in murine peritoneal macrophages: comparison of various virus strains with different properties.

The in vitro replication of eleven different strains of herpes simplex virus type 1 was studied in resident or thioglycollate-stimulated mouse macrophages. The strains of herpes simplex virus differed in the type of cytopathic effect, induction capacity for herpes simplex virus coded thymidine kinase and pathogenicity in the mouse. Herpes simplex virus replicated better in thioglycollate-stimulated macrophages than in resident macrophages. In vitro ageing of macrophages increased their replicative potency. ESTIMATION OF THE INDUCTION MOTOR PARAMETERS

ABSTRACT The paper presents the method of determining the parameters of induction machine models in an objective, algorythmic way employing the modified stepwise-regression method. The elaborated method is versatile. It enables to calculate parameters on the basis of the static characteristic or dynamic runs. The effectiveness of the described method is demonstrated in the paper by the examples of estimation of these parameters, which confirm the convergent of proposed method.

A series of Ni(II) complexes with the general formula [2-((NEt2)Me)-8-{N(Ar)}C9H8N]NiCl2, where Ar = 2,6-Me2C6H3 in Ni1, 2,6-Et2C6H3 in Ni2, 2,6-i-Pr2C6H3 in Ni3, 2,4,6-Me3C6H2 in Ni4, 2,6-Et2-4-MeC6H2 in Ni5, and 2,4,6-t-Bu3C6H2 in Ni6, has been prepared using a one-pot reaction of 2-(N,N-diethylaminomethyl)-6,7-dihydroquinolin-8(5H)-one with the corresponding aniline and nickel dichloride hexahydrate.
