Games on recursive game graphs can be used to reason about the control flow of sequential programs with recursion. In games over recursive game graphs, the most natural notion of strategy is the modular strategy, i.e., a strategy that is local to a module and is oblivious to previous module invocations, and thus does not depend on the context of invocation. In this work, we study for the first time modular strategies with respect to winning conditions that can be expressed by a pushdown automaton. Finding k -dissimilar paths with minimum collective length

Shortest path computation is a fundamental problem in road networks. However, in many real-world scenarios, determining solely the shortest path is not enough. In this paper, we study the problem of finding k-Dissimilar Paths with Minimum Collective Length (kDPwML), which aims at computing a set of paths from a source s to a target t such that all paths are pairwise dissimilar by at least \theta and the sum of the path lengths is minimal. We introduce an exact algorithm for the kDPwML problem, which iterates over all possible s-t paths while employing two pruning techniques to reduce the prohibitively expensive computational cost. Improving table compression with combinatorial optimization

We study the problem of compressing massive tables within the partition-training paradigm introduced by Buchsbaum et al. [SODA'00], in which a table is partitioned by an off-line training procedure into disjoint intervals of columns, each of which is compressed separately by a standard, on-line compressor like gzip. We provide a new theory that unifies previous experimental observations on partitioning and heuristic observations on column permutation, all of which are used to improve compression rates. During the COVID-19 pandemic, social media has become a home ground for misinformation. To tackle this infodemic, scientific oversight, as well as a better understanding by practitioners in crisis management, is needed. We have conducted an exploratory study into the propagation, authors and content of misinformation on Twitter around the topic of COVID-19 in order to gain early insights. We have collected all tweets mentioned in the verdicts of fact-checked claims related to COVID-19 by over 92 professional fact-checking organisations between January and mid-July 2020 and share this corpus with the community. Abstract Automatic program repair papers tend to repeatedly use the same benchmarks. This poses a threat to the external validity of the findings of the program repair research community. In this paper, we perform an empirical study of automatic repair on a benchmark of bugs called QuixBugs, which has been little studied.
